Sue Devitt Naughty or Nice Steals and Deals

Two seasons ago Sue Devitt introduced two gorgeous palettes that I was and am still very much in love with! They were entitled the Naughty or Nice palettes and they packed a whole lot of gorgeous into one very, very cute palette!

Sue Devitt's Naughy or Nice Palettes

Now the Muse is telling you this for two reasons. One, she wants you to have a gorgeous, shimmering Holiday face and Two, she wants you to nab an awesome deal!

I believe at the time these palettes had cost $38 or $35 each (Don't quote the Muse, she's growing older and her memory isn't as good as it once was). But you can have them both for prices ranging from $7.99-$14.99! Both of them for that price! That's like $4 bucks a palette! If you search E-bay for "Sue Devitt Naughty Nice" you'll be pleasantly surprised by the very nice, low prices these palettes are selling for!

Why is the Muse telling you this? Another two reasons if you will. One, if you're on a budget this season and want to look gorgeous these are both fabulous palettes to have in your beauty arsenal and Two, did I mention these are selling for practically FREE!?

Now if I haven't sold you with the price alone allow me to tell you a little about each palette! If you happen to love shimmer and sparkle and shine and glittery bits and pieces as much as the Muse does, these, my friends, be the palettes for you!

Naughty is my favorite of the two (not that Nice isn't equally as gorgeous I just have a thing for the name! "Naughty" how very bad!). The Naughty palette contains two shimmering shades of shadow and two glittering lipglosses. The shadows included are a deep silver shimmer and a gorgeous frosty white. The lipglosses are a bitten red with silver sparkle and a deep pink with silver sparkle. The overall look the palette creates is a frosty holiday face that's sure to please! Add a little liner from your own stash and you'll be looking so Naughty it'll be nice ;)

Sue Devitt's Naughty Palette

Now the Nice palette is as equally as gorgeous as the Naughty! If you happen to be a brunette these are most flattering shades indeed! This palette includes a gorgeous sparkling bronze eyeshadow and a sparkling beige that reminds me of Stila's popular Kitten eyeshadow but with way more sparkle! The two lipglosses included are a bronze with gold sparkle and a copper with gold sparkle! The naughty palette isn't only for the holidays you can easily get away with the look for Autumn or Summer! The effect this palette creates is a very elegant bronzed look with tons of beautiful shimmer!

Sue Devitt's Nice Palette

Each palette also includes a lipbrush although for some odd reason or another they failed to include an eyeshadow applicator but that doesn't take away from the fact that these are and remain a favorite Holiday Palette! Sue Devitt hasn't wow'ed the Muse in a few years and these, at the time, had most definately wow'ed me!

I'd grab these off E-bay it's such a good deal you can't really lose out!

Being beautiful doesn't have to cost a fortune ;)

....wow. The Naughty palette is gorgeous! I may have to buy it now! The one red looks a little warm for my skintone, but if it is I'll just let mum use that one! The other one, the alizarian red w/silver glitter is right up my alley.

My only problem with getting 'em is that it's harder and harder to find sellers that take either Bidpay, a check or a money order. I don't use Paypal: a long long time ago, they fucked my parents over pretty good. Someone broke into our account and went wild and Paypal ended up suspending our account and didn't let them reregister. They be a bunch of bitches, dammit, and I refuse to use 'em.

But! if I do find the Naughty palette for sale by someone who will take my three payment choices then I'll absolutely buy it. It'll be added to my list of things to buy/trade for and dammit, that list is getting to be quite long!

On another topic completely, did you end up getting Guerlain's Emilio Pucci collection? If so, what did you think? And do you know of a department store that's still selling the shade of Sparkling Sea that beautiful sea-green glitter-filled lipgloss? I'm dying to have it.

And! and and my mum did bring home the digital camera! So I'll see if I can't get some FOTDs done tonight!

Have a good evening m'dear!

Hey there!

They are both quite pretty palettes ;) You can always just purchase one as some sellers have singles for sale for $4.99 or so!

Paypal is quite drama at times :( So sorry to hear about the terrible stuff that happened to you with it! I've heard so many horror stories! I've never personally had a problem but I have heard tons of people having very serious problems with the service ;(

And they are terrible about backing the consumer up!

LOL visiting with me will make your wish list triple ;)

I actually never purchased any of the Pucci items! Dunno why really! I believe at the time several Japanese Spring Lines were tempting me far more. Jill Stuart had just popped up with her new spring palettes, plus some other odd bits and pieces so I skipped out totally on it.

I know Nordies definately has the kit still available and sephora. It's $72 I believe. As far as the gloss you may find it at your local Saks sometimes these things hang around a bit longer! Call a few counters and you never know you might strike it rich! If not you might wanna peek on ebay! I rarely see any of the collection up aside from the powder brush that was introduced at the time but sometimes you can nab something else!

Give it a year and it may even pop up on strawberry.net!

And of course MUA probably has somebody with it on their swap list!

YAY can't wait for the FOTDS :) Fun Fun! Tomorrow I'm using the Queen's Sin and Red Romp! I'm going for a goth dark look :) We'll see how that comes out! Wahoo! Wish me luck ;)

I have two more comments to post from you! I haven't forgotten just a busy weekend :) Will reply soon!

Hugs

Hi Muse,

Those palettes look quite nice! I may skip them though because I have been very bad lately. I'll send you an email later on what I got, but I did get both the BE platinum and diamond sets. I took some side by side photos if you are interested in a comparison. The Magie Deco items did arrive...

Hope you are well!

Hugs & Cheers,
Betsy

Helllllllllo Betsy! My dear friend :)

Whom probably hates me for being so remiss with my replies as of late! Forgive me? I owe you a message ;)

I am going to buy both sets after reading your email! I've decided I absolutely need them and since they are different I most definately want them :) I'd LOVE to see pics comparing the two!

Do tell me how the magie deco is as well :)

I'm sorry about my crummy reply time lately but my inbox is like a bloody unorganized closet!

Hugs!
Love ya!

Hi Muse,

LOL! I don't mind the delayed replies - I know how crazy busy life can be. Life is rarely a nice leisurely pace, it's usually complete insanity.

I'll send pics and a note later tonight!

Hugs & Cheers!

My dear Muse,

Well, bad news. I wasn't able to get my FOTD done because of my idiot back. I'm typing this laying down. And since mum's only able to bring the stupid camera home on the weekends, I'm going to have to get it to you next week. Annoying, I know. You have my sincerest apologies on this.

The upside is that last night I got to play around with my interpretation of Givenchy's Artycolor look. When I get the camera this Friday I know EXACTLY what I'm gonna do. And I'm going to take a picture of me in Moire Black Captiv'Eyes mascara.

Well, I'm gonna go ahead and go to sleep now. I was up most of last night.

Have a good day, m'dear Muse!

P.S.: I'm very seriously thinking of starting up a small beauty blog. I don't have near the collection that you do, though, and I don't have the means to review entire collections even on an irregular basis (thanks to my gestapo-like father). So it probably won't be a very good beauty blog. But I think I'll do it anyways.

Aw that's ok love! Anytime you are ready the Muse is always here hehe :)

No need to apologize at all! We all have an off day that's perfecty alright!

I think I'll do an arty FOTD too this week :) Sound good?

Can't wait to see what colors combos you come up with! And quite excited to see the Givenchy mascara in action as well!

Feel better and get some rest! I will talk to you soon!

That'd be very exciting :) I love reading beauty blogs! Your collections doesn't have to be vast to do a blog :) just write about what you love!!!!!!!!! Do tell me when it's up and running! I'd love to see :)

Believe me you don't need a huge collection :) Just by looking at collections online and nabbing updates and such you can do a perfectly great blog :)

Feel better!
Talk soon!
