Trish McEvoy Eye Base Essentials Review

For the most part we all reach for our concealers come morning and start dabbing away under our eyes trying to make ourselves look like we had 10 hours of sleep when in fact we had only 6 (shhh I won't tell if you don't). While you're busy concentrating under your eyes you may forget the lid area. A little highlighting and concealing on your lid can do a world of difference to make you look wide awake and fresh! Which is where Trish McEvoy Base Essentials comes into play.

Check ahead for the review!

Trish McEvoy Base Essentials is a waterproof eye base that preps your lids for eye shadow but that's not all! This incredible multitasking tool also evens out dull lids, redness, or discoloration to create the perfect canvas for your makeup while waking up your tired eyes and making you look refreshed. You don't have to wear shadow over Trish McEvoy Eye Base Essentials, you can simply dab a few dots on, blend, and walk out of your house looking natural and flawless.

Trish McEvoy Eye Base Essentials makes a great base and keeps shadows fresh and crease-free all day long but the Muse thinks it's a nifty little concealer for masking my exhaustion and replacing it with fresh, awake eyes. Although I'm a fond fan of Benefit Lemon Aid for this very reason I felt like the Trish McEvoy Eye Base Essentials did just as good a job with a better packaging than Lemon Aid. The base comes in a gloss style tube with sponge application, sweet, no fingers in my product! Swipe a little on, blend with a fingertip, and you're ready to rumble.

The formula is an interesting matte cream that should appeal to anyone with terribly oily eyes as it dries down to a matte, powder-like finish that keeps shadows from slipping and sliding off the eye area. Likey!

You may wonder why you need to even bother with this when you can do the same with concealer? Concealers are very creamy and moisturizing and meant for the skin UNDER your eye where as products like Trish McEvoy Eye Base Essentials are specifically targeted to your upper eye area. The formula is considerably different when compared to a normal concealer.

If you're looking for something to wake up your tired eyes that also acts as a great base to adhere shadow to your lids making it vibrant, waterproof, and crease-free, the Muse highly suggests snagging some Trish McEvoy Eye Base Essentials!

Loves it!
