Rimmel London Shock Gloss 3D Mattifying Lipgloss

Ok...I wants Rimmel London Shock Gloss 3D Mattifying Lipgloss.....

I'm not Rimmel's biggest fan but I'm actually quite curious to try these new glosses! These are available in three shades so far for
£3.99 within the UK. The Muse is hopeful we'll see them US side soon.

Rimmel has adapted the popular Asian spatula style applicator that I simply love for gloss application! More brands seriously have to get on board with this awesome applicator!

The shades are entitled Intense (Clear Pink), Clearly Clear (Clear), and Amp'ed (Red). The formula supposedly gives a highly glossy finish however I have tried one Rimmel gloss prior that promised similiar and was a grave disappointment!

I think I'll wait to try them out when they reach my side of the pond rather than spend money on airmail on an item I may not like!

Are you within the UK?

Tried these yet?

Love 'em!?

I recently tried Rimmel 3D lip gloss in Indecent and was kinda disappointed with it. Sure, my lips are shiny, but there's like no color to them. http://decoratived.blogspot.com/search?q=Indecent

Is this the one you tried and didn't like?

A "mattifying" lipglos? I don't understand- is this supposed to make your lips glossy or matte?

hi jenna

not sure haven't tried 'em so unsure of the formula.

claims are it's glossy as per the details. Not sure why they have matte in the title...an interesting contradiction!

Lol, to me, that's like no color!
It's just my lips with lots of shine.
The shine is good, the lack of color makes me sad :P

Glad you like it though!
Muse approved is great!

I don't think you'd like the ultra sensitive part of it, or the inability to tan :P Most people see that as a huge detriment.

not a problem for me I avoid the sun like the plague :P

I hate tanning :P

Lol, your inner goth converted you!

I can't easily tan, so it's a good thing I don't ever want to :P I did try an experiment once in Maui though, where I put tanning oil on my legs to see if they'd pick up color. After 2 hours in the sun, all they did was burn, nothing, no color. My mother in law was sure I'd end up with some color.

Now, after 4.5 years here in FL and daily walks, I've gotten slightly darker on my arms than the rest of my body, but that's it. Not my face or legs or anything else. And apparently only I can really discern the difference, which amuses me.

These are in the U.S.- I swear I saw them at Wal-Mart. I remember because I had never seen a spatula applicator on anything but Japanese glosses. I'll look again next time I go!

hey dd!

lol ;) could be, could be :)

I'm surprised as a friend of mine is as pale as you and she gets a nice blushing look on her face, although she hates it, I think it looks rather kawaii!

I have the same problem..my body is a bit darker than my face :) I blame it on all the whitening products I use lol!

Off topic but how is the weather right now? Whenever I got to Florida in the Fall or Winter I'm always slightly shocked that it isn't 100 degrees and humid ;) for the most parts, the few times I've gone in the Fall/Winter, it was quite cool!

It's been between 70 and 80, and feels soooo good out. Of course, I like it when it's 90, too. Since I'm in Tampa, we always get a nice breeze. I don't think it's that humid usually. Now, if you're in land locked Orlando, it's almost always 10 degrees hotter than Tampa, and much more humid. That's one of the reasons I chose to not move to Orlando.

Orlando is way humid and Miami...HORRIFYING! that's some seriously hardcore humidity!

Yeah it can be.

Now, if you go to the Keys, that's heaven! It's very similar to Maui.

Its mattifying? Because on the UK site it says magnifying.

hi anonyomous

as per asos's description it says matifying not magnifying...

I haven't run across the product yet so I can't confirm.

here's the link to the asos description if you'd like to see for yourself

http://www.asos.com/Rimmel-London/Rimmel-London-Shock-Gloss-3D-Mattifying-Lipgloss/Prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=432643&clr=Intense&SearchQuery=mattifying&sh=0

as you can see it says mattifying.

Hope this helps

I live in Canada and those glosses are available.
But they're at the evil empire. D:
I liked Intense, it isn't really long lasting, but the smell and the applicator are reason enough to buy it.
Plus, it's CRAZY glossy. And I do love me some gloss.
