Weekend Round Up

Hey girls (and guys)!

Tis the weekend!

W00t! The Muse be happy!

What's your plans for the weekend? It's a hot, humid one here in New York and your Muse has had some sincerely stressful days this week! Yak! So this weekend is all about chill-axing I'd say! I haven't slept late in about 10 years so I'm thinking a little lay in is in order tomorrow morning with the AC blasting away, sleep mask on, and curled up under the covers! After that a bit of late brunch with mates sounds divine! I'm also thinking a brainless movie or two sounds good....How about The Mummy anyone? Or Journey to the Center of the Earth? That Brendan Fraser kinda does it for me!

I'm off to Defcon for a few days next week which should be a blast w00t! Very excited! Have no fear blogger now has an awesome schedule feature so even while your geeky Muse is away they'll be posts to be had for all!

How about you? What are your plans this weekend?

Lazin'? Partyin'?

Tell me all about it!

Here's a little weekend link love to keep you company while the Muse relaxes this weekend!

Happy Reading!

See ya Monday!

Well, tonight I came home to a dog with an upset tummy, which was sad. However, after taking care of her, my household went out to see the Dark Knight, which was fantastic. Bruce Wayne reminds everyone of my boss, down to having the entire building black. This movie is amazing and I highly recommend it.

Tomorrow, I think we're doing some arena matches in WoW. I finally got my Season 4 Chest and Pants. I need to make time to paint my nails so they're pretty. Then we'll be getting dressed up in an asian themed way and heading to my friend's birthday party for fun, naughtiness and sushi. :)

Sunday is house maintenance day, which is cleaning, putting away clean laundry, mowing the lawn, weeding, etc. So not as fun. But I've got a bath bomb for Sunday evening that should help with relaxing.

Monday I start training a new girl at work, so I have another minion. This makes me happy :)

I hope that your weekend is fabulous!

I bet DEFCon will be a blast, as it's in Vegas! You should think about DragonCon some time, though Atlanta doesn't have the cool factor that Vegas has.

I'm really tempted to buy this shirt for D*C, since I'm a Dr. Who fan.

Lazin' because the weather has been the worst. Where's the global warming because it looks like Scandinavia is going to have the new ice age soon. I mean, in north has snown and the temperature is occasionally below zero. This is no summer, it fall! We even didn't have a good winter, it was too warm and almost no snow.

Hello! We've just got back from our honeymoon! We've had the best time, traveling hither and thither, now we're just exhausted and having a relaxed weekend!

Have you got my emails? Is there something wrong with it I wonder.

TTYS! Huggies!

The husband and I just finally saw Hellboy II, which was awesome, if you've not yet seen it. I love it when the sidhe are portrayed as not being good or evil, but just being a different sort of force, if that makes sense. Selma Blair's haircut is sooo cute in the movie. It's taking all the restraint I have to not run out and get that hair cut.

hey dd!

Aw is he ok now? I haven't seen it yet...I actually gave up on batman after val kilmer. I just can't comnic book come blockbuster or game come blockbuster..just isn't fitting in my geeky nature. Even httthough it gains rave reviews I know I'll pick it apart until it bleeds ;)

Sounds like a packed weekend darling! Hope it was great :) Mine was somewhat lazy!

Friday I went to see a bollywood film with my friend Jai and his boyfriend. NJ has a buncha theaters that play all the latest hindi films. We went to a late dinner at the melting pot which made me feel like I had to take my pants in three sizes lol! God fondue should be illegal.

Saturday I finally slept late and just lazed a bit. Had a late brunch with mates, some shopping, a movie, and dinner.

And Sunday I went to the CP with some friends. We just walked about, had a picnic lunch and chilled. The weather was great for it. Not too hot, not too cold!

Dragoncon looks wicked. I really don't have as much time as I'd like to enjoy vegas when I'm doing defcon..always feel rushed and pressured to see everything at defcon!

HA! I have that! DT was sporting it around London and I purchase it soon after. i also have one that reads mrs tom baker on it :) and on the back it says "got any jellybabies?"

Totally geeky moment there!

hey dd!

I haven't yet seen it. Not much of a Hellboy fan in all honesty but I thought SB looked adorable in it too. She's rather cute in kick ass movies.

You should do it. It would frame your face beautifully!

I'm so tempted to do that hairstyle, but I'm growing my hair out. This is the longest it's been in years. I may try and grow it back to my waist again.

The movies were great :)
Glad you saw Journey to the Center of the Earth, as it was really cute!

Glad you had a good weekend, you needed a relaxing one.

You should look into Dragon Con!

NO DONT lol I have it almost past my butt and it drives me nuts lol!

It was pretty cute. I like the nonsense he puts out plus he's great eye candy!

Lord knows I did :)

Definitely as I've never been! I normally do def, ces, mac, and comic con and a few other less profiled hacker/geek fest ones. but never did dragoncon! I'd love it I'm sure! my geek nature outweighs the cosmetic side :)
