Latest Obsession: Aquafina Advanced Hydrating Facial Spray Review
I recently came into a stash of Aquafina skincare goodies and as mentioned in a previous post I'll be doing a a few different reviews for each item over the next few days.
One of the first items I want to review for you is one of my Latest Obsessions and a total Beauty on a Budget score!
Meet Aquafina's Advanced Hydrating Facial Spray:
This little bad boy will cost you $3.50 USD-$4 USD depending where you buy it. That's freaking four bucks for an awesome hydrating spray! Can you say cheap and awesome?
The Muse likey cheap beauty finds that actually work!
Evian Facial Spray sells for $16 USD in a 16oz size where as Aquafina sells there version for $3.50 USD in a 6oz size. Which means even if you purchase 3 cans of Aquafina you're still getting major bang for your buck!
Since it's hot, humid and just generally yucky outside I absolutely adore this stuff to prep my face in the AM prior to moisturizing! I spray it all over my face for a healthy shot of cooling mineral water that softens my face and preps it for my facial moisturizer! It's delightfully cool and refreshing plus I get the added benefit of the minerals in the water. It's suggested for use with or without makeup on but I personally won't attempt spraying water in my face when I have a full face of cosmetics on however in preparation for makeup it's ideal.
The price is sincerely awesome and it's definately an item you'll want to stash away cans of! The price can't be beat and it's a really inexpensive find for replacing your normal toner in the Summer when it's warmer (or Winter if you prefer).
This one gets a friendly Muse Approval for purchase! If you know anything about your Muse it's extremely rare she runs across cheap and awesome in the same product. Cheap yes...awesome no.....rare occurrence!
But it just so happens that Aquafina Advanced Hydrating Facial Spray is cheap and awesome! A marriage most wonderful!
Loves it!
Needs it!
Wants some more of it!
Have you tried this yet?

I never understood these kind of products. Do you wash your face, dry it, then spray this water over it, then apply moisturizer, etc? Isn't your face still damp after you wash it? Or do you not wash your face in the AM? Or do you wash your face, but then wait awhile before putting your makeup on? Sorry to sound like a question nazi, just trying to understand. :)
hi pavlina :)
ask away ;) You don't sound like a question nazi hehe!
I only use this in the morning so basically I shower in the morning obviously and dry off.
My face is completely dry at this point. I spray this on and I do my hair while it dries. After that my skin is normally moist but not soaking wet or anything. I apply my moisturizer and other skincare items.
;-)
Basically I use it as a toner sorta. It allows my moisturizer to sink into my skin easier.
Does this make sense ;)
Isn't Aquafina a fancier version of your tap water? I read it somewhere last year when SF and NY decided to ban selling bottled water on the street.
Anyways, I've never tried but if that's true then I'll just stick to the spray bottle and my good ole municipal tap water :D
This is my favorite facial spray. I was so bummed when I ran out b/c when I went back to the store to buy another bottle, it was nowhere to be found, and I ended up checking literally 10 other stores, but nothing! So I settled for the Evian one, which is a little bit more pricey, but I guess it'll have to do until I can get my hands on some more Aquafina.
ha no kid dao! lol never read that ;)
The ingredients claim it's mineral water with vitamins ;) Even if it doesn't contain that I just like the cool refreshing feeling hehe!
hey tracy!
Order some from the site! It's 25% dude ;)
Hey Muse, unfortunately, we don't get it here in SG. Therefore, I usually use Evian's or Vichy or MAC charged water. Vichy's and MAC's ones are rather pricey but they work rather well. Vichy's is rather cooling and MAC's one is good for reducing puffiness.
I usually use these spray before toner. Toner absorbs better this way :)
Have a happy weekend! :)
gracie
=D !!!
you know what else you could use the spray for?

to hell with whale kisses! aquafina will clear that shit up in no time!
I use the mineral water spray from Avene that I bought from CVS. It's more expensive than Aquafina so once I find the Aquafina one I'm going to buy it.
I actually spray the water on my face over makeup during the day. It doesn't harm any of the makeup and it really refreshes my skin and makes it feel fresh. I also take this when I fly. I used to end up with really dry skin after flight, but not anymore. It's great.
hey gracie!
Sorry love :(
I love the charged waters myself :) they are rather great and smell nice too!
I normally use this as my toner ;) And than moisturize!
Plus it's really cooking on the face!
Happy Monday, hope you had a fab weekend!
hey sarah!
LMAO! perfect ;)
I knew it was multitasking!
hi Shefali!
I never tried the Avene one...never even heard of it. Have to look around for it ;)
No kid? I was always worried about that. I wondered if my liner, mascara and eye makeup would run :P
Agreed about stale air plane air! This is perfect!
