Tagged! I'm It! Random Facts You Didn't Know About the Muse
The beautiful Kia from Yummy411 has tagged the Muse to spill some Random Facts About Me that you may or may not already know!
I've been tagged before but I failed to come through on it. EEP! Sorry whoever tagged me before! I'm terrible at these little games!
Ok so six things you may not know about me.
1. I have two small teacup Chihuahua a la Paris Hilton hehe! They are my kids, my babies. I love them silly!
2. I love Zombies. George Romero is my hero. I collect all sorts of strange films featuring zombies. Stuff you may have never heard of. Budget films, crazy grindhouse movies, etc...anything that features zombies and I'm all over it!
3. I've traveled quite a bit! I sincerely love traveling and I've done my fair share of it in my 30 years. I go to England at least once a year, I've been to Japan, Thailand, All over the Islands, Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Holland, Germany, Tons of US States (Illinois, Florida, California, Nevada, Texas, Hawaii, Maine, Louisiana, etc...etc...etc....)...I'm sure I'm missing some! Since I mentioned places I've been I should mention places I am dying to go too those would be Egypt, Singapore, Korea, Washington State, Australia, India, etc....etc...! My family used to spend entire Summers in Europe every year and it gave me a great love of being abroad and just enjoying visiting new places!
4. I'm extremely geeky. If you think makeup is my passion you'd be wrong. I'm more of a geek than a makeup lover. I go to Sci/Fi Conventions, Computer Conventions, I'm a trekkie type. I enjoy anything and everything that has to do with the geeky world of science and computers.
5. I am not a makeup artist, I do not work in the makeup or fashion industry, and I do not possess a pro card. I can't tell you how many times I get asked that ;)
6. I have one older sister whom I get on with famously. We are not only sisters but the best of friends as well. She's actually 12 years older then me but it never feels that way! We are always like two little kids, giggling constantly, etc...!
That's it. And it was kinda hard trying to figure out six things you may not already know about me!
My comment box is open! Tell me six things I don't know about YOU!

Ahhhhhh, i can see we've got some similarities ey....Right, six things you don't know about me? Pretty difficult but here we go.
1) I'm on both extreme sides of the scale when it comes to personalities....i can go from being extremely shy and silent to being outgoing and spontaneous. There's no middle ground for me and i think it happens in all aspects of my life. Think of it as all or nothing madness.
2) I'm an only child but everyone seems to think i'm a middle child because i'm not a typical spoilt brat.
3) I can be stubborn beyond human understanding. I can also be very blunt so if you're not good at hearing the truth it's not always a good idea to ask my opinion on something.
4) I love travelling...been doing it since i was 7 with my parents and since i turned 12 i've been travelling alone. YES, alone on the aircraft to different countries. I've been to 30 states out of the 36 states in Nigeria. Been to Togo, Ghana, Benin Republic and now UK for a few years. Would love to go to Australia(i might beat you to this one), US, Canada, i soooo want to go to Alaska, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Thailand. Oh and New Zealand.
5) I'm a geek as well, i collect phones, old postage stamps. Obsessed with new laptops that come out frequently, love TV shows that have to do with building a house like Grand designs. Absolutely in love with Top Gear; they show fabulous cars on it. Give me a gadget and i wanna mess with it. Obsessed with perfumes.
6) I love giving people makeovers from their hair and wardrobe to their makeup. Think of me as a free image consultant....haha.
Hey honey! Sorry for my disappearance from the comments box!
If u ever come to Singapore, tell me about it! I'd really LOVE to bring u around! However I think that only one thing will amaze u here and thats the food (and probably DVD sets from Korea and Japan that are dirt cheap compared to where u get urs from) because in terms of shopping, I think u can get a great deal more at where u come from.
Anyways, 6 things u don't know about me:
1) Although I adore Japanese cosmetics a lot, a large part of my collection is still MAC because its more readily available here and I'm on really good terms with my MA. Most of the stuff I see online never make it to the shores of Singapore and those that do are usually not so impressive or are way out of my budget.
2) My makeup collection is NOTHING compared to urs or beauty bloggers' but one thing I know for sure is that no one my age who goes to the Junior College instead of the Polytechnic will have a larger collection than mine. Things are stricter in a Junior College than Polytechnic in Singapore. In Junior College, we still wear uniforms, attend the blardy morning assembly, cannot wear any form of cosmetics and cannot cut classes without significant repurcussion. In Polytechnis, there is no uniform, little rules to adhere by, makeup is allowed, no damned morning assembly... well its basically the Varsity life. However I doubt even a Polytechnic student will have more cosmetics than me.
3) I really rEaLlY REALLY want to be a makeup artist for MAC but if I ever tell my mum that being a makeup artist is what I want to do for the rest of my life and not just as a vacational job before I enter Varsity, she will bury me so deep down into the ground that the heat from the core of Earth will incinerate my very sorry and big ass.
4) Whenever I have too much time on hands (like now because I'm not working or studying), my sleeping cycle will be totally messed up because I will watch DVD after DVD so I will sleep in the morning and wake up in the evening. I will start to live in this fantasy world and get totally cut off from reality. (Thus my recent lack of comments... so sorry there dear!)
5) I am already 19 and I have NEVER had a boyfriend in my entire life because I am just such a sad case. I always get pestered by weird people but the guys I like never reciprocated. Everywhere I go, people think that I am this vivacious bitch who plays the field but I am just plain old Sarah. When I was still studying, people thought I had tonnes of boyfriends (when I am just the opposite of what they think) and when I was a relief teacher, the other teachers thought the same thing about me. Honestly I am plain boring and I look plain as well. I'm just such a sad case because I still believe in Fairytales and Prince Charming.
6) Last year, some rumours about me being a lesbian started to circulate in school. Firstly because one of my girlfriends was two-timed so she broke up with her boyfriend and we became very close as the other girls in our clique were still attached and kept going on dates. People apparently said that my girlfriend must have been traumatised from her previous experience with boys that her sexual orientation changed. The fact that I never had a boyfriend before and that I've never gone on dates with any of the guys who asked me out (may I add that they were weird guys, not those cute ones) made things worse. I think lesbians are kinda hot and I have nothing against them. What I don't like about that rumour is why do people like to speculate so much when it is none of their business?
Ok I'm done here. =D Hope u know more about me now and really hope that u can come to Singapore! Muackz
When do we get to see pics of the dogs?? Bonus points for the dogs with a little eyeshadow on.
Yay, I wanna join in the fun. 6 things you might now know about me:
My name, Adina is hebrew for voluptuous. My parents couldn't have picked a better name, huh?
I have one older sister who is 15 yrs older than me, and 2 nephews ages 15 and 8. My nephews and i each have an age gap of 7 yrs.
I am obsessed with all things beauty and fashion. Bebe is my favorite clothing store
I am an amateur model, and have worked with various photographers and also at a few runway type shows
I was a competitive dancer for 13 yrs but had to quit when i got to college. I have done tap, jazz, lyrical, ballet, pointe, hip hop, modern, ballroom, latin, and acrobatics. My favorite would have to be either lyrical or jazz
I have a huge desire to travel the world and possibly live in europe for a couple of years. my first trip to europe was in august when i went to switzerland for a company outing. I can't wait to go back!
What a great little list of random facts! I enjoyed finding out more about the Muse! :)
Hey Izzie,
What a fabulous post! You have to make your way over to this part of the world some day :-)
Not sure if you got my email, I sent you a small package... hope it shows up soon!
*HUGS*
Hey muse~
how about a pix or two of your babies? I wanna see!!
I'm planning a trip to Italy, mainly focused on the southern part since I only have 10 days. The route would be Rome - Naple - Isle de Capri - Sorrento - Sicily (Taormina and Palermo).
do you have any suggestions on where to go? where to skip?
I'm so exciteed~
Hello Muse!
I thought I'd comment on this entry because it's an entry that I can actually find something constructive to say about, rather than my usual rambling incoherent long-as-hell but really about nothing comments.
So! Six things you don't know about me:
1. I used to be a wildlife rehabilitator. My specialty was squirrels. I started in the fourth grade and had to quit two years ago thanks to my stupid EDS. It's hard for me to live without squirrels now. A squirrel is to me what a favorite dog or cat is to most people. They're wonderful animals: sweet, very affectionate, intelligent, and so much fun to raise. It was sad to release them. But! if a person isn't good with rats, they won't be good with squirrels. A squirrel is very much in personality like a fancy rat or Gambian rat. So since I can't do squirrels any more, I'm planning to get a Gambian rat for company.
2. I love zombies too! What did you think of "Land of the Dead"? I thought it was friggin' awesome. Have you seen Peter Jackson's "Braindead"? If you can, find the completely uncut New Zealand version. The so-called uncut version here in the US has ten minutes still removed.
3. If a favorite actor of mine is in a film, I don't care how bad it is. I'll watch it for them. A hugely good example is the remake of "Charlie's Angels". Crispin Glover was in that and so therefore I suffered through it for him. I've seen some of the worst films known to man, just to see an actor I love.
4. I'm a huge horror/sci-fi/comic/video game geek. I still collect action figures, for the love of god. Though I really don't read comics any more--there really aren't that many good ones out there any longer--I'm still a heavy gamer. I'm saving up to buy "Valkyrie Profile: Silmeria" and "Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth" even if VP:L is just the original VP with fancy new cut scenes added in to replace the old sprite-animated ones. My favorite games are FPS and horror games: VP is the exception. I hate RPGs. Too long, too much goddamn reading, shitty voice acting and I hate that the enemies always wait so politely for you to bash their heads in. I like games like "Doom3" where you have to fight and defend in real-time otherwise a huge Hellknight will eviscerate your ass.
5. I'm adopted. I was born in Peru in some no-name little rural village and was FedEx'd to the US after something like three or four days, where I was adopted by a crazy Welsh-born hippie (my mum) and a redneck Texan (my dad). And no, never do want to meet my birth-mother: she's the bitch who gave me my EDS. She had more kids after me and since the carrier of EDS has a fifty percent chance of passing it on to their offspring, half of those kids have EDS as well. So yeah, much rage and hatred towards my birth mother.
6. In addition to my EDS, I have yet another stupid genetic disorder: I have a deathly allergy to birds. In high school I had two pet ring-necked doves. I loved them. One of them was tame-enough to ride about on my shoulder while I was out and about in the house. Well, the birds' feathers and dander caused my bird allergy to act up and within six months my lung-capacity was reduced to something like twenty percent and I couldn't take ten steps without collapsing and coughing so hard I started to dry-heave. Finally I couldn't stop coughing one day and we had to call an ambulance. My geneticist and pulminologist diagnosed me with having this rare, extremely ridiculous bird allergy and after being in the hospital for close to fifteen days, sadly I had to give my pet birds away. They told me I can't even go into the Bird House at the zoo, but to hell with that: I've been going there since I was a little kid and nothing's ever happened.
And that be it. Boring, ain't I?
Well, I'm going to go finish watching "Deep Blue Sea". Have a good weekend!
hey Allysia-May!
Sorry for the delay in replying to this hun! ;) I'm enjoying learning more about you in this post!
My personality is pretty constant ;) I'm always bubbly. My sis calls me Miss Mary Sunshine ;)
Your personality sounds pretty fun to me ;)
I only have one sister but I sometimes feel like an only child since my sis spoils me like a mum would I guess ;)
LOL! I'm not like that at all! I'd be too shy to state my bluntest opinion!
My god you've traveled to some amazing places! Lucky lucky you!!!!!!!
I've wanted to go to Ghana forever!
You can add New Zealand to my list too! Would love that ;)
My BF is obsessed with Top Gear too!
hehe I want a make over :) I'm not good at this sadly. I can only do my own makeup and I'm not so great at doing someone else's ;)
Wish I could though!

That's alright I know how busy you are dearie!
DVDS! AHHH! hehe I needs cheap ones ;)
I'd love to come!!!!!
I'm a MAC girl too :) You're not the only one.
I'm shocked about the makeup "wearing" rules in schools. We don't have many rules about what can and cannot be worn at school. it's pretty much a free for all!
LOL well your mum sounds like all good mum's ;) They want the very best for us ;) I told my mum I was going to be an artist most of my life and I think she was secretly horrified but never said as such. I never did become an artist hehe!
I think when we are younger our sleep schedules are insane. I remember mine was stay up until like 5 am and sleep until 5pm lol!
You're very young and I'm positive a BF will happen sooner or later ;) Just think of it as your "party" time hehe!
You aren't sad. I believe in Prince Charming and Fairy tales too. Don't give that up!
Sigh. People are so mean spirited it's insane :( That's very sad what happened to you about the rumors :( Just do your best to ignore them and remind yourself you're the better person!
I loved hearing all about you :) This was fun! I hope I can get to Singapore one day soon! We'd have a blast I'm sure!
hey Joseph ;) They aren't NEARLY as cute as your pups hehe ;) LOL! A little eyeshadow eh? Maybe some nail polish too hehehe :)
Hey Adina!
Sorry for the delayed reply! It's a beautiful name =-) just like you!
Ah! I'm not the only one with an older sis cool!
hehe I KNEW bebe was your fav :) I once seen a pic of you wearing this ultra adorable short set on Specktra in front of a Bebe store ;) Was so great!
I had NO idea you were a model! Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love dancing but I dunno if it could be called that lol!
Europe is amazing. I'd love to live there as well. I've been planning on moving to the UK for years ;) It's so very expensive though!

Love ya much!!!!!!!
hey steph :)
I will do some promise!
Oh my god lucky you! I'm short enough to fit in your overnight can I come?
hehe!
I've been to Rome twice and it's amazing. Simply and beautifully amazing. I've never been to Sorrento or Capri. I have been to Sicily. My mum's mother, my grandmother, was born in Sicily :)
If you're going for 10 days you may want to concentrate on one location and Rome would be wonderful as it holds a nice array of shopping, history, and beautiful bits! And believe it or not major bargain shopping to and outlet ;)
I LOVED Rome the times I've been ;)
E-mail if you want some pics or some good places to stay, eat, shop, etc...!
Hi Angelique!
Your comments are fine ;) I'm not complaining. Comment away!

I enjoy good sci/fic myself and I'm a big time gamer when I have the time ;) I'm a WoW geek a la Leroyyyyyyy JENKINS as I take alot of risks and play for the kill and win without the strat ;)
I'm sorry 'bout all the anger you feel towards your mum but at least you have a great set of parents now that matters most ;)
