Philosophy Purity 32oz Back in Stock @ QVC

I imagine this isn't very news worthy but I thought I'd shout out and tell you that the 32oz mega size of Purity is back in stock at QVC.

About a month ago I finished off my mega size that I had purchased last year and I wandered over to QVC for a re-order and was saddened and shocked to see it was unavailable.

Now this mega size is about $40 USD or so after shipping.

I hopped into Sephora and had to pay $32 USD for 16oz.....sheesh...........I could get twice the amount for almost the same price!

32oz vs 16oz

Anyway! For the Purity lovers grab it while the grabbing is good! Item Number A34737.

On to more Philosophy news.....

Have you seen these?

From Philosophy's website:

you need this product if...
  • your skin is dehydrated and thirsty for replenishment
  • your skin is dull, devitalized, and in need of extreme hydration
  • your skin has lost its firmness and elasticity
  • you want to minimize the appearance of fine lines & wrinkles
  • your skin is stressed due to climate changes, stress, hormones or illness

  • Sounds like I need these as my skin is always thirsty for more moisture! It sounds like a great fix for Winter skin blues!

    What do you think?

I've never tried any capsule treatments from Philosophy (they have booster shots available as well in cap form) so I am vaguely curious!

    Hmmmm!

    Thoughts?

i haven't tried those capsules but i do love the vitamin C powder they have that you add to your moisturizer. my mother's been using it as well and she said she feels some of the discoloration she has on her face has been lightened (which I'm jealous of because she has and always will have much better skin than I do-like it need to get any better!).

Oh no! QVC has already sold out!! It's too sad:( Anyway, I'll recover. I use the Philosophy capsules sometimes. They have a lot of silicon or dimethicone giving a velvety texture on the skin. As far as helping the skin...I'm not too sure (no adverse reaction but no great awakening skin either, just ho- hum) but if you want to try I'll be happy to send some of them to you.

    hiya ricky!

I was curious about the vitamin C Powder. Do you add it to each scoop of lotion you use or do you add it to the entire jar of cream? I never knew how it worked!

Aw don't worry lovie. With proper care and a good skincare regime your skin will get better! The woe of beautiful skin believe me I know it well!

    hiya Paige!

Aw thanks! I've been waiting myself! 'bout time right? I'm so glad you found it helpful Paige! I wasn't sure anyone would care when I posted it hehe. I spent $32 plus tax on a 16oz and I could have gotten this mega size! I used the last of my mega size a few weeks ago and had a tiny drop left so I was forced to get the smaller one!

Aww cool! Now I have a name to go with your cool comment ;)
Glad you love the random geeky bits ;)
more to come! I have one about Supernatural I was thinking of posting soon! Watch it?

Thanks so much Paige really appreciate your lovely comment!

    Have a good weekend!

    HOLY COW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I looked and it's gone. And I was going to order one myself next week!

SHEESH! That was super fast! I hope it pops back when they are live on telly.

I'd love to give 'em a test run! E-mail me maybe we can arrange for some sort of swap :) Thanks so much!

They sound interesting. I find Philosophy is sometimes ho-hum with their products. I'm a Philosophy girl but some products aren't all that fab.

Like Hope in a Jar hasn't done a damn thing for me :P

I love the promise of makeup optional skin. Mmm never experienced that yet in my 9 or so years using the brand!

    lol!

    hey!

so that comment from "ricky" was actually from me. i was reading it and was like-that's totally my comment!! i was at SO's place yesterday, bored outta my mind and posted and i guess since the computer was logged into his gmail account, his name showed up?

as for the powder, it comes with a little spoon and i add a scoop to my moisturizer every morning-for some reason i feel like adding it all at one time would do away with its efficacy because it would be exposed to the elements so often.

    sorry for confusing you!

Must be very nice if you bought a mega size bottle. :-)

I used to buy Vitamin C powder in drugstores too and I actually both drank it and used it as a facial mask or added some to my bath water. Great exfoliator and really gives your complexion a nice glow. ^_^
