Musings of the Day: Who Influences Your Beauty Purchases?
You read beauty blogs, you read consumer reviews on forums and beauty sites, you read magazines, and you watch TV adverts.
Question is of all those things who is it that influences your beauty purchases the most?
Is it something that you see on your fav beauty blog? Or maybe a friend told you how you have to try out this new shampoo she loves. How about TV advertisements or magazines?

For the most part I'm influenced by some of my fav beauty bloggers and also websites and the like. Say I wander onto Sephora and see something that captures my interests, that will likely cause an immediate need to purchase an item. I'm one that loves pretty pictures and the likes. If I see something advertised on a model such as items from many Bobbi Brown launches, I instantly want it as the model is always so picture perfect and flawless.
I'm also a huge follower and reader of beauty blogs so those also influence my need for product.
Forums and online communities also feed my need for beauty.

Definitely reading your blog, or reviews on mua. Also beauty sections in magazines like Lucky and InStyle. But I usually cross reference those with mua reviews before I'll buy.

I'm actually really influenced by any blogger or youtube guru that has similar issues as me. Like if someone with a lot of redness has found a great product, i'll most likely run to the store and grab the item. lol
I read reviews on MUA, Sephora, and beauty blogs. Your review of Benefit's "Hello Flawless" has me putting it on my list for my next haul, and you really helped with a BB cream recommendation, my mom hauled me 4 different kinds from Korea! Including alot of facial masks.
I'm definitely influenced by my favorite beauty bloggers. I'll think I want an item, then I'll go read all the reviews I can find out about that item. Then I'll make a decision to purchase it or not.
You've influenced me both ways on a ton of things :)
Muse you are my beauty idol! I also follow temptalia and karlasugar. I follow MAC a lot. Other than that I just go to Bloomies and Sephora a lot.

Muse!! Plus MUA, some other beauty blogs, nail blogs, sometimes Allure, Lucky or some other magazines. I'm European and make most of my beauty purchases on the internet, cos there's just sooo much more!
Muse, you more than anyone have made me spend a lot more on makeup in recent years! :) All good stuff, though. I also will buy recommendations from the various fashion mags and I'm willing to try anything skincare-related, especially if it is formulated for oily and/or blemish-prone skin. All it takes is seeing one ad in a magazine and consider it in my cart!
I am influenced by beauty bloggers like you and Youtube gurus like lollipop26! The online beauty community has fueled my obsession with all things beauty!
