Laura Geller Kiss & Bake Up 8 Piece Collection Review and Swatches

When I scored the Laura Geller Kiss & Bake Up 8 Piece Collection recently on QVC with free shipping I swear I felt like I won the lotto! When does QVC ever do free shipping right? The kit was $55 bucks plus no shipping? STEAL!

Loves it!

Here's the deets, the kit includes all these fabulous shades of yummy color that will go down so beautifully in the Fall! I was sporting this all weekend and got tons of comments about it. If you wear warm colors well you'll want to get this kit.

The kit includes:
  • Laura Geller Blush-n-Brighten in Apricot Berry
  • Laura Geller Balance-n-Bronze
  • Laura Geller Spackle Cream
  • Laura Geller Eye Rimz Baked Marbleized Illusion Shadow in Bewitching Bronze
  • Laura Geller Dream Creams in Apricot Berry
  • Retractable lip brush, Eye Rimz Brush, and Double Ended Face and Blush Brush

The kit contains everything you need for a complete face look and of course you can spice things up to create a few looks since the Dream Creams palette has a few color selections to use. All the color cosmetics in the kit are richly pigmented, silky smooth, and blend beautifully. The completed look is very warm and rich, elegant even and ideal for Fall in my opinion. Although it's Summer I'm already counting the ways I'll make use of this when the cooler weather sets in.

Laura Geller Blush-n-Brighten Blush is an incredible product and I'm the pride owner of a few shades. This is a silky smooth blush that works much the same as a MAC MSF but minus the heavy shimmer, glittery finish. The color that comes with this kit is a swirled peach, berry, golden beige combination. Brightens up cheeks with a flush of peach!

I'm not a fan of Laura Geller Balance-n-Bronze as the bronze side is a tad too sheer and a bit chalky however the product is split so it houses the bronzer on one and the brighten powder on the other. Laura's Balance-n-Brighten is a fabulous product that brightens the face and erases dullness for a flawless look. This part of the split pan I like but I could take or leave the bronzer side.

Laura Geller Eye Rimz Baked Marbleized Illusion Shadow in Bewitching Bronze is a rich, deep chocolate brown. This is an incredible color that works fantastic on my doe brown eyes. The shade has a tiny twinkle of gold that's very subtle and pretty.

And finally the Laura Geller Dream Creams Palette (my favorite item) is a quad of four creamy lip colors that apply beautifully well. These are pigmented little gems of lip color and can be used together or separately to create a full, luscious pout!

Also included with the kit is Laura's Speckle Cream for prepping and priming prior to applying makeup and three brushes. All the brushes in the kit are quite good quality for the price.

All in all I think the kit is an absolute steal and a rather great item for Fall. Even with shipping it still ends up a really great deal. I highly suggest picking one up if you like warmer shades. The kit is undeniably gorgeous and Muse Approved for purchase! If you're interested the kit is under item number A90709 on QVC.

Here's the completed look using the kit:

Loves it, simply loves it!

Anyone indulge in this?

ooo Muse, I have Bewitching Bronze Eye Rimz and I love it! On me it doesn't look so great, but my mate has officially staked her claim and she'll be getting it if I decide to yay or nay it. I have green eyes so it kind of looks muddy on me.. but she has those gorgeous deep brown eyes like yours and looks fantastic with it!
