Pieces of Life: Ask & You Shall Receive

As my Spring season comes to an end I have less and less Spring Collection reviews to worry about. I know, terribly weird being in the middle of Spring without a ton of Spring cosmetics to review but so the life of a beauty blogger goes, we are always one step ahead of the game.

Summer approaches fast and already I have my head buried in Summer collections.....

However, today is all about you!

Today is an open mic of sorts for you to sound off on items, collections, skincare, etc...that you're really wanting a review on. So please go ahead and comment and tell me what you'd like to see reviewed, swatched, and talked about in the upcoming months!

The Muse looks forward to hearing your thoughts on this!

I'd love to see a review on Shiseido benefiance eye cream and/or cleansers, perhaps the extra gentle. As well as a review on MAC lipliners and Stila kajal eyeliners. I love your eye close up pictures for your FOTD's. I really enjoy reading your blog. Unfortunately I don't have any way to purchase the asian brands so I usually skip those, even though they're always really pretty to look at.

Hi Muse!
I think I tried to send you a message about this line on a different part of the site, and I don't know if it worked. Anyway, I'm really interested to know what you'd think of my favorite new face skincare line from CO Bigelow. I've bought every item from the line, and my favorites are the acai berry repair cream and the rice and bamboo gentle scrub that smells like sugar cookies. They still have all the items for buy 2 get 1 free at and in stores too I think.

Can I put in a request for your brush collection and recommendations please? Actually anything on your non-colour cosmetics tools would be interesting! I'm a brush fiend and love nothing more than picking up tips on other's best brushes.

Hi there!

I've been reading your blog for some months now and just wanted to say how very helpful your gorgeous reviews are! Keep up the good work :)

Now, concerning upcoming reviews...I'm really desperate to hear your opinion on the Loose Bronzing Powder Chanel has released as part of their summer collection! I'm quite fair (MAC NC15) and still on the outlook for a proper bronzer (I'm especially afraid that it'll make me look orange or muddy or like a disco ball,if it contains shimmer). Since I love loose powders and everything Chanel, I would be really grateful if you found an opportunity to review it! Thanks in advance!

more cheek and lip tint reviews please! and gel blushes! i can't get enough of them :)

also could the Muse give her expert opinion? Is Laneige Snow Shimmer Brightener more shimmery in comparison to Nars Albatross? I found the Laneige highlighter on ebay (yay), and i was just wondering...

The brushes suggestion was interesting. I don't own many and definitely don't want to pay MAC prices, so it'd be good to know of some cheap, good quality alternatives. Have you tried Eco Tools? I'm interested but neither of my Superdrugs stock them :(

Don't necessarily need a blog post on this one, as you've featured certain coral blushers quite heavily already :p, I was just wondering what your recs would be for a coral blush on paaaaaale skin?

I'm loving all the coral and want to take the plunge, but I'm worried it'll look all wrong on me D:. Maybe something that goes on a bit sheer?

hi janet!

Your wish is my command. I plan on an eye cream review week soon and shiseido is in there :-D

Honestly I don't use lipliners so I'm bad for reviewing those hehe but I'll see what I can do and Stila kajal liners I can def do :-0 and I'll try more close up shots of my eye :-D I do stink that them though be warned lol!

Asian brands are easy to locate all over the Internet :-D do read my Japanese Buying Guide.

Hope it helps!

Hi Muse!
You may not have any of their products yet, but if you ever get something from the Chinese/Taiwanese brand Chic Choc, please, please review it for us! I've been wanting some of their stuff for a long time. :(

Oh it wasn't a comment, I think I was trying to send it by the email thingie on your site. I must have messed up somehow and not sent it. Anyway thanks so much for replying! I read your blog so much and love your reviews, that I find myself wondering what you'd think of a product whenever I really like it. I love the CO bigelow collection, I hope you'll like it as well!

hi kirsty!

I have a few reviews on eco tools here :-D just search eco tools and it'll pop up or look under the tag "beauty tools"

they are quite good.

I always recommend orgasm from nars. The color is pigmented but it works at being both subtle and loud if you choose :-D A light hand will get you a nice burst of coral/peach!

Just a tiny little pinch and you'll look gorg :-D

ps kirsty

aromaleigh supposedly has a good orgasm dupe so if you'd rather not splurge on nars you can try al!
