Beauty on a Budget: Mini Bourjois Paris First Impressions, Haul, and General Babbling

My mate Rows from Mostly Makeup sent me over some Mini Bourjois Paris from jolly old England! Thanks Rows the Muse loves you lots and lots and lots!

This is my first time trying out Mini and I love it! I love the regular Bourjois Paris line anyway and this is amazing quality and just as good as the full size products!

I'm shocked and delighted at how great these are. It's really nice to be able to indulge in such a cute, inexpensive cosmetic that has the quality to back itself up!

I know a few people aren't really loving Bourjois's normal baked eyeshadows. For whatever reason you might have for hating baked eyeshadows you'll be able to happily indulge in Mini as the shadows are not baked. These are just regular old eyeshadows with great pigmentation for the price!

The shadows do not come with a compact and I believe they are around $6 or so each. I'm not sure if they fit into a MAC quad as I haven't tried. You can purchase a cute little cardboard box which holds three shadows which costs $2! Not a bad deal in my opinion!

Pop it out!

and Pop It in here!

Colors 64, 60, and 58

The range carries not only eyeshadows but a ton of other mini items such as gloss, nail polish, pigments, etc...! I haven't tried everything but I do like what I see so far!

The pigments are probably my favorite of the lot. They aren't sheer by any means and you get a nice beautiful finish with them! Very pigmented for the price and just enough in the jar to last ages! I wish MAC pigments were available in this size!

Finally the lipgloss is the exact same formula as the regular size! It's just cheaper and smaller! It has a little string you can use to attach it to your iPod, Cellphone, Etc...!

All in all Mini Bourjois Paris is definately something to keep your eyes out for! I know Ulta is now selling some of the line which is awesome as it was unavailable stateside prior to that! I'm hopeful that maybe Sephora will catch up and start carrying this!

If it's inexpensive you seek without forsaking good quality this is exactly something you might try! These are excellent for traveling light as well or for those of you who are unable to finish larger size products!

Tried these?

Love 'em?

Tell the Muse!

Yeah, my local Ulta(s) seem to be carrying all of that stuff. It's cute and all, I just wish they made these products a little bit cheaper, given the size, and had testers.

Hi Muse! The mini shadows don't fit a mac palette (they're smaller). I had two sets of mini shadows (mac's satin taupe and swimming shadows clons!) They're not bad, but I prefer mac's. But they're excelent for tavelling.
What I really like about bourjois' pigments is the little jars (you can even re-use them to carry mac's pigments hehehehe).

Hugs! And have a lovely weekend!

Hi Izzy, I absolutely adore these! I've the mini lipgloss and the mini eye shadows. I bought them when it was the first launched about a year ago.

I've heard about the 2nd launch a few weeks ago and check out the stores but it's not here yet :( I'm waiting to see the pigments!
There wasn't pigments in the first launch.

The mini lipgloss are great for a quick touch up! :) -gracie

Awwww, you got to try this! I've been wanting to try this, specifically the nail polishes, for a long long time. There's a dark blue mini nail polish that I'd just love to have. But I have yet to order anything from overseas because I have no idea if I'll have to sign for it once it gets here or if customs'll fuck it up or whathaveyou. It bothers me quite a bit as there's this I'd love to try, there's Rescue Beauty Lounge's Black Russian polish I want and of course, there's about a billion things from Jelly Pong Pong I want as well.

Well, I'm happy that you got to try it at least! And I'm happy to hear that the shadows are normal. I've never tried their baked shadows but I have heard about 'em. In fact, now that I think of it, the only thing from Bourjois I have tried has been their Maxi Frange mascara.

I should probably go to sleep, shouldn't I.

Have a good day m'dear!

hey Jennifer!

They are indeed although I was saddened to see that they were a bit expensive from Ulta by at least 2-3 more ;( But they are rather great if you don't use a ton of cosmetics. They are actually small enough to finish which I love!

hi angelique!

The nail polishes look very cute :)

It all depends. Sometimes you do have to sign for it sometimes not. But normally customs isn't too big a problem here in the US. If you lived in the UK or somewhere else chances are customs would be a bitch. Normally when send items back and fourth we mark it as a gift and that sways customs plus a low amount is always a good idea!

Jelly Pong Pong is actually sold on Cherry Culture I believe :) so that's a US site w00t!

I love the Maxi Frange mascara :)

Happy Weekend!

Bourjois is part of the Chanelcompany and you can really tell. If you compare a lipstick or lipgloss from Chanel and from Bourjois is exactly the same taste, the same feeling and the same quality.
I'm so in love with their pigments (great!!) and the 3D lipgloss <3
