Taryn's JPmon Registration Tutorial

Sometime ago a reader and mate, Taryn, was kind enough to create a registration tutorial for JPmon for the readings of Musings of a Muse!

I had originally created a JPmon tutorial for ordering but a few of you had asked me about registering and for the life me I can't recall how I registered for the site! Duh!

But Taryn was kind enough to create a most excellent tutorial to get you all registered up prior to following my tutorial for ordering!

So here's your first step in registering with JPmon! After this you can click here to use my tutorial to help with processing and completing your order!

If you're clueless about JPmon allow me to explain that's it's an online shop that sells tons of Japanese and Asian Cosmetic Brands! The prices are decent and not too bad! Airmail shipping costs aren't fabulous but JPmon has many brands you can't find in online shops so it's a great place to stock up on unique and unusual cosmetic items!

If you have online (or offline) mates that are into Japanese cosmetics you can do a bit of a group order to save on your shipping costs!

Anyway!

On with Taryn's great tutorial (click the images to enlarge):

Thanks Taryn! A ton of people are going to be very happy to have this!

Hi Muse,

I, like yourself am a big japanese cosmetics fan and i read your blog everyday and i love it!!

So please keep up the good work!!

I was just wondering do you know if the JPMON site will mark the parcel as 'Gift' on the customs declaration form?

Cause unfortunately in the UK if you spend more than £18 you have to pay tax :(

hello Anonymous!

Another Japanese cosmetic fan :) Fantastic!

aw thank you so much for stopping here daily and reading my little blog! it means the world to me :) Sincere thanks!

JPmon unfortunately most always does a total cost on my dec form. I normally mark as a gift when I send via airmail myself with a very low cost to avoid the drama of customs! Grrr! how annoying :(

if I were you, prior to ordering, shoot them over a friendly email asking would it be possible for them to mark it as a guest with a cost of say $40usd or so! They may do so. They speak english (the email addy is on my JpMon Tutorial post) so it shouldn't be a problem to interact with them and see what they can do for you ;)

I hope this helps!

Thanks for commenting!

Don't be a stranger to my comment box! I love hearing from my readers ;) Especially my brit ones ;)

If you guys need any more clarification on it, I can try and take some better screenshots. It's tricky, but once you get the hang of it, you should do fine.

Thanks, Muse, for putting it up. I'm honored!

Hi Muse,

I just received an email from JPMON.

And they are happy to mark the package as 'GIFT' and mark down the exact value so that i can avoid additional tax.

Hooray!!!

So for any of your readers who are worried about this, just drop them a polite email and another one when you order to remind them.

Thanks Muse for introducing me to this great site!!!

hi Anonymous!

Fantastic! CS at Jpmon is wonderful! I always get really good replies for them!

They even refunded me once on shipping after the package was sent b/c it ended up being less and the system had charged me more ;)

I hope you're happy with your goodies when you order! Do let me know what you end up getting! Must share the cosmetic love ;) hehe!

Happy Shopping!
