Sephora's Beauty Resolutions

Sephora has a guideline of Beauty Resolutions for us all and I thought I'd see how many of these "resolutions" apply to me!

Hmmm Let's see shall we?!
I will use SPF everyday!

Check! I do indeed use SPF everyday and so should you and if you're not I highly suggest it. Be you 13 or 55 start using it before you destroy your skin!

I will wash my face everyday!
(Click here to learn about my skincare regime)

No problem got this one covered too! I'm actually anal about washing my face so we should be a ok! Remember kids remove your makeup before going to bed!

I will spend less time on my hair!
(Click here to learn how I simplified my haircare!)

Hells I barely spend anytime at all on mine so we should be safe here! It's either in a bun or it's flying around my head doing a bad Little Orphan Annie imitation (Those are the days I wander around the city trying to locate my very own Daddy Warbucks!).
I will lose weight!
(Click here to see how you can lose weight using a ligploss!)

It's not that easy Sephora! I've been trying for years and I'm still quite short and round! I'll try harder. Promise. I'll even use lipgloss to aid me!

I will try a new scent!
(Click here to read about the new scent I tried recently!)

Hey! Got it covered! I tried a new scent recently and I'm always on the look out for new blends! Check!

I will create the perfect smoky eye!
(Click here, here, and here to see some "smoky" eye looks)

I dunno if it's perfect but I definately love creating some dramatic looks with grays, blacks, and silvers!

I will be more adventurous!
(Click here, here, and here to view some adventurous makeup looks)

I'm adventurous! I plan on bungee jumping off the Empire State Building in 2008! Until than I'll settle on being adventurous with my makeup and we all know by now how very bold I am with makeup!

I will keep my Beauty organized!
(Click here to see how organized I am!)

I dunno if I'd call my beauty organized but I sure do try to attempt to have some sort of organization with my cosmetics!

I will feed my skin healthy ingredients!
(Click here to read about my past posts about Lush Fresh Cosmetics!)

No problem! Lush has me covered!

I will treat my hair with respect!
(Click here to read more about haircare!)

We've already been through this haven't we?!

I don't personally have any Beauty resolutions for myself but answering the Sephora one's was sure fun ;)

Do you have Beauty Resolutions? Anything you aren't doing and should be with your skincare regime? Are you wanting to be more adventurous with your makeup application?

Tell me about 'em!

I'm all ears!

Yeah, I've got them covered as well! My adventurous = using blue eyeshadows. Never got into that colour, but recently I acquired a NARS Rated R duo and I love the blue side.
I think something more challenging for this resolution (well technically it would be a challenge) would be something like keep eyebrows groomed at all times (sometimes we are just soooo lazy aren't we? :P) or not use mascara for a week (yikes!). Heh

Hi Loey!

I was surprised that I had so many covered! Rated R is so beautiful!

Good lord to be honest I'm downright anal with eyebrows. I'm constantly pluck, pluck, plucking!

But I'm definately lazy with other stuff ;)

LOL! Don't worry about the mascara use my method. Curl and go ;)

Hi. I saw your organization of makeups by the link. I am so surprised of what you are having. OMG! How would you finish them all? Or you just keep stocking up?
Hm, compared to this, mine is only a small piece.:'(

This year, I've vowed to take better care of my skin, thus I'm spending much more time and money on skincare than I normally would; I just purchased a new Clarisonic Skincare Brush,to be delivered at an indeterminate date. I should probably delete my post on it though, as Oprah seems the vengeful type...

I've also vowed to avoid sugar and any other other substance/product that might harm my skin. I say this as I'm scarfing down honey-roasted peanuts at an alarming rate.

Oh, and I vowed to lavish more attention on my languishing hair.

I've vowed to start drinking more water. I notice my face just looks better when I drink lots, so I imagine what it's doing on the inside, too!

I'm done with flat-irons, curling irons, and all chemical hair-dye and silicones! done!

Less refined flour and white sugar foods. It causes low-grade inflammation throughout the body and definitely is no good for your skin.

I'm going to find the PERFECT RED lipstick and wear it without a hint of self-consciousness!

I've vowed to take better care of my under eye area. All the tugging is setting in and I've been obsessing over wrinkles for the last few months.

You know the Skincare brush tempted me but I swear to god that Microdelivery Wash does the same thing with your hands! I love this stuff it's fantastic!

LOL Oprah forbids anyone to blog about her "favorite things"!

Dude..have no fear I'm munching m way through a box candy cane jo jo's because I've convinced myself I can diet after New Year's!

But the good news is I've promised myself I'll drink 12 glasses of water a day and I have indeed kept my promise.

I also talked myself into the notion that Candy Cane Jo Jo's are probably healthier than Oreos and could be glutton free and fat free and preservative free etc...

Roxy,

Funny I was just typing that I've been drinking more water! I find my skin looks much better too when I do. It just looks really glowing!

I'm trying to do away with "whites" as well! I know I'm slightly addicted to sugar somehow especially in my tears so I've convinced myself that I'll use skim milk or powdered milk minus the sugar. Hell I even prefer it minus the sugar but for some reason I've told myself the sugar gives me the rush I need in the AM!

Good for you! Go Red! I'm positive you'll look glam darling!

Happy New Year!

Hi Kitty!

LOL probably never will finish it all but I find I tire of items quick so I swap or sell for something new :)

I have a slight addiction to cosmetics :)

big or small it doesn't matter :) It's what you do with what you have that works ;)

I'm positive you look gorgeous with or without a big collection!

Happy New Year!
