My dear Muse,

My Givenchy Lash Sparkles finally came today! Actually, they got here about ten minutes ago. Had to sneak out and get 'em--my dad being fiendish about my makeup hobby and all. And I've gotta say that I either don't know how to correctly apply 'em so that gel makes tiny little beads or that it's just plain glitter gel in a pen. If it's the latter, then I'm going to be very irate at Givenchy since I was hopin' for something in the vein of Dior's IcePearls or Givenchy's old Lash Pearls.

In fact, I'm adding Givenchy's 2006 Lash Pearls to my "Must Swallow My Pride/Morality and Buy Off of eBay" list along with the beautiful Arty Palette.

Maybe I can't correctly apply 'em because I haven't slept since yesterday: Insomnia yet again.

And dammit, Givenchy's Diamond powder is sold out! Y'know, it's times like this I really wish I did live on my own so I could spend my friggin' money on what I want, not on what my father wants me to spend it on. Hell, if it were up to me, I would've bought the whole Givenchy holiday collection already!

I am glad that you managed to snag Guerlain's Forever Gold spray-powder before the rest of the slavering rabid beauty hoardes got to it! This is a strange analogy, but whenever holiday collections come out I'm always reminded of the zombies in "28 Days Later": they're vicious, single-minded, relentless, they sprint, and the only way to stop 'em is to blast 'em with a shotgun! I swear, Sephora becomes a battleground whenever new collections are put out, particularly if it's a limited edition collection!

And as fer me, the only other thing I've seriously got a lemming for is Guerlain's Gold Overcoat mascara BUT since I've already bought two things from Sephora this month, I'm going to pray that it's still available come November. Have I mentioned that my father is an overbearing gestapo psychopath?

OH! Before I go and try to make myself sleep, I wanted to tell you about Givenchy's Rouge Interdit in Rose Desire that you thought may be a bit too Mod for you. I myself bought myself a Rouge Interdit in Ideal Fuchsia (that was my first sephora purchase for this month). I actually bought it because it looked like it would give neon-strobe creamy-full coverage color and my favorite lip colors are bright neon violets, blues (yes i wear blue), cool pinks, and raspberries from the cool side of the color spectrum. Well, Rouge Interdit goes on really rather sheerish opaque because it's made with liquid crystals. So! Absolutely try it on before you return it. Unless you layer it like I do with mine, it's not going to go on nearly as bright and Mod how it looks in the tube.

...and now that I'm thinking about it, I probably should start up a small beauty/cosmetics blog if for no other reason so that I don't keep on rambling huge tomes of text at you! Since I know no HTML, I wonder if I could pull it off successfully. Well it couldn't hurt to try, right?

Well, I'm going to go and try to sleep. Have a good day m'dearest Muse!

Nooo! I wanted to order the Givenchy diamond powder. Does anywhere else sell the line? *sigh*

Sephora always takes forever and a day to get things back in stock too. Oh well...I should probably let it go since I just treated myself to some MAC and Josie Maran cosmetics. :P

I know tell me about it :(
Takes ages to get back!

You can get it at Saks and they'll ship it your way free of charge if it's still in stock!

Try MUA too as I've heard a few poor reviews so someone may wanna rid themselves of it!

and if you're desperate you can call up Times Square Sephora and have them ship to your end!

Hope this helps love!
