Accessory Corner: Christian Siriano for Payless
Now the Muse wouldn't necessarily call having your own Payless Shoe Collection fierce. Payless and the fierce realm...well let's say it's like comparing apples with oranges.
Never you mind though, the accessory news of the hour is that the new Limited Edition Christian Siriano Shoe Collection has officially launched for Fall 2009 at a Paypless store near you!

Honestly, none of the styles appeal to me as they are a tad too middle age crusty for this Muse but the price tag of $34.99-$49.99 does make it fashionably inexpensive couture.
As for this Muse I think I can safely skip....

Christian Siriano's line for Payless was actually supposed to look much, MUCH cooler.
When he debuted the original versions in his show in Fashion Week, everyone was amazed and excited since the designs were so fresh and...fierce (lol)!
But he had to tone it down for Payless by making it more "mainstream."

it's a bit less than mainstream...kinda boring for me :(
boo is right. especially the pump....that's quite old ladyish....sigh! I expected a bit more dramatic from him but I guess it's understandable he toned it down!
I have to wonder what you consider middle age? 30? 40? Come on Muse! I'm "middle age" and wouldn't ne caught dead or alive in these!

I wouldn't either but I guess some folks like a more conservative style?
i like the 2nd one, if only it would be a little more exaggerated in the pump and heel
