MAC 25% Discount Holiday Collection 2008
Does it freak anyone out that MAC is offering 25% Off a majority of it's Holiday Collection? It kinda scares me a bit that the economy is taking such a slugger that even cosmetics are becoming discounted.

I find it interesting that MAC is discounting. In all my years collecting this is truly a first!

I'm definitely on the disturbed side. MAC doesn't discount like this. The number of friends and family events that I have seen this year... yeah, it's a little scary.

my christmas prep is normal, Im taking a small part in a play at church XD it's exciting!
I've used the MJ mascara, well I didnt use much of mascara before so I really cant make much comparison...but it doesnt feel heavy on my eyes and it doesnt clump...i take it as a good start haha
whenever i go to the cosmetics company store, i always see mac's holiday sets from previous years. maybe they figure they'd at least try to make a little more $$$ off of them by doing a big push like this before they have to send them off to the outlets...? or maybe they're just taking people's financial realities into account??? shrug.
whatever, at least now i can sort of justify why i need to get one of the brush sets. ;-)

Makes me a little grumpy since I´ve not only paidfull price but the european full price for these, so that is more than double the current price. grrrr....
Wow!!!! It's a great news! but unfortunately MAC won't ship internationally, so i think i will just stare at the monitor and do nothing.
P.S. I do envy you about your great collection of makeup!

Do you know if this discount is also for the international stores? I live in The Netherlands and really love MAC, so it would be great if they had the discount here too! I'm in love with the face brushes (not really fond of the price tag!) but are they worth it do you think? Are they good enough to invest in? Love you site, thanks a bunch!

With the Passionately Red lip palettes, I can understand that why they wouldn't discount the items, what with the proceeds going to AIDS. Although I wonder why they wouldn't give a discount off of the Red She Said color story. I mean, they're part of the holiday collection, right?
I thought the same thing! I told my hubby the economy must be worse than we thought since now MAC is going on sale! Unheard of!

I like the brushes honestly...some people don't like the minis but I think they are fabs! Some folk say they aren't as good as the regular size but I personally think they work just as well :)
