New NARS Makeup Brushes

NARS has introduced a few new brushes to it's line up that have most definately caught my eye!

One in particular that I've been lemming for a while now is the NARS Ita Brush 28. This brush looks superb for a light dusting of shimmery bronzer, powder, or blush!

Although the Ita Brush has been around for a while it deserved a mention since it's just now popping up in Sephora stores around here.

If you're seeking the latest, greatest, and brand new you might want to reach for the new NARS Botan Brush which looks simply lovely. This is an ultra large kabuki brush that's made for buffing powder into the skin! Since I'm currently trying to convince myself that I should be loving minerals this brush appeals big time! At $75 USD the price makes me wince so the possibility of actually buying this are slim but one never knows as the Muse has been known to shell out as much as $50 for a good brush, sometimes its just worth it!

And finally if you're looking to tote it all along with you or you're just a fiend for NARS you might want to get your greedy hands on the new NARS Travel Brush Set. For a mere $170 USD you can do up your makeup in style with six brushes from NARS and a travel case.

I'm not particularly enamored with this kit's price or the brush roll but if you're a NARS fan it might very well be on your wish list!

All in all a nice selection of new brushes from NARS to keep your face happy and your makeup skills hone.

Want 'em?

Loving one in particular?

Too expensive?

Tell the Muse!

Hi Muse!

The brush pack is beautiful!

I'm going to London in 2 weeks, I might be able to see it! And if not, I'll always be able to see a Nars counter LIVE!!! Can't wait! I'll take a huge haul back with me!

morning pao pao :)

how are you lovie?

I'm not partial to the pack as the roll on it is kinda not that pretty. But I'm loving the kabuki and slim line brush! ;)

Have fun in London! Wish I was going ;)

Enjoy!

Hi Muse!

That Ita brush is way cuter than mine - it's shorter and chubbier. I wonder if there are two versions?

Anyway, it's a terrific brush and really gives you a natural blushing look. Only downside is the rubber handle gets all smudgy and sparkly after awhile.

Hope you had a great weekend!

morning taryn!

Hmmm could be as I remember around xmas they had another version. Plus Sephora had a rather cool one.

Yak! I hate that. That's my pet peeve about the nars packaging. :P

Weekend was grand ;) How was yours? Hope you had a great 4th!

Sorry I haven't been on! We'll catch up soon!

I hope ;)

Plenty too tell you!

Muse,

Nars Botan is totally worth it. I kept going back and forth, when it came to this brush because of the hefty price. But it's.....AMAZING! Totally worth the money and believe me when I say I'm not one to shell out $75 for some brush. But I don't regret it one bit. My mac kabukis #180 and #183 have taken a back seat to botan. Just check it out at Sephora and you won't be able to put it down :-)

It sounds amazing. I'm jealous. Me wants it too.

Is it big and chunky or compact? Got any pics?

Ugh you're evil for telling me it's awesome ;)

Thanks for the comment! Btw are you the same creampuff that was kind enough to tell me about the BP sale at Sephora?

Hi Muse,

Yes, that's me too. Not sure if CreamPuff was a livejournal related id. I have no id, I'm such a space case. You have good memory by the way. Maybe next time it'll be CreamPuffer007, hehe. That's my xbox tag by the way. I'll totally take you out at Halo, lol. :-)

Now as for botan, it is very big and chunky. It covers a lot of area and it's super soft. I love love love it!!! How do I put up the pics here by the way? I can put it next to my mac kabuki for size reference.

I'm really sorry for being so evil, muahahaha*cough, choke*muahaha :-P But it's a must have.

Not worth it, if it's any consolation. The brushes are very overpriced and bleed black dye every time you wash them; I had two Ita brushes and ended up swapping them both away after 2 hellacious months.

hiya creampuff!

Awesome! Good to meet you outside of my cbox :)

No worries. My nicks are always changing with numbers and extra letters I know the feeling :)

Hells I bet you will! The Muse's calling is not Halo. Although if you challenge me to some AoK, CoD,or WoW I may just rough you up some ;) Bring it!

hehe!

ugh I'm so jealous as it sounds awesome. I love the mini mac kabuki and I also have the kabuki introduced with the beauty powders..that brush is awesome!

Do you have a blogger account? You can slap 'em up as an entry if not email 'em my way ;)

LOL you're going to make me spend $75 bucks aren't you?

I can't help myself..I feel an order coming on...someone stop me *falls over*

=-)

Yup. They leak like an untrained housedog.

The only positive thing I can say about it is you could probably use the stuff to touch up your roots. Just wet the brush and apply to grey! Make sure to wear gloves.

If you have any Japanese friends, now would be the time to have them CP some Hake brushes from Gion. They are made with white goat hair and will probably cost a fraction of the price of Nars.

I love when you visit me here Mandy and use phrases like "leak like an untrained housedog"

It reminds me that our relationship is based on a ton of crude references!

hehe!

Ewww seriously THAT bad!? Wow. I need to buy 1 just to see all the dye!

I do indeed...hmmm will have them look for these ;-)

No dye too! Thats a plus!

Love ya!
