Lush Easter Eggs

You may recall me babbling about Lush's Easter Egg Gifts a few weeks ago! If not do have a click here and here for the details!

Today I got my eggs in the mail! I was so thrilled they didn't crack! I had ordered three for myself and a few others as gifts! Can't wait to take a bath to use some! I was going to order from the UK but I had a gift certificate that was burning a hole in my pocket and the UK doesn't take US gift cards so I said I ordered from Lush NA and was shocked how quickly they arrived and all in one piece too!

Anyone get these?

Wanting them?

The Easter Bunny came early to the Muse's house!

I actually got my Lush order yesterday (well over a week from the date of purchase). Why is Lush NA shipped from Canada only? And where is my popcorn packaging?!? I opened the box yesterday, expecting a ton of vile smelling popcorn, only to find it filled with crumpled newsprint (not even used newspaper, which might be more ecologically sound, just crumpled newsprint). I needed that popcorn! I was going to poison some crows!

Hey Mandy *hugs*
Yay!

Lush NA is actually operated by someone other then Lush UK it's sorta like a chain. Mark doesn't have much to do with NA..mostly it's operated by Wolvertine.

No popcorn for the US only the UK is green friendly ;)

LOL you're so cruel poor birds!

I'm warning them 'bout you!

Wolverine?!? No wonder! Lush NA was so much better when it was run by Professor X.

Seriously though, Mark Constantine's hot, hot ass needs to get on this problem, tout de suit! If there is a site for Lush in the States, there should be a Lush USA.

Those damned Crows keep robbing and tipping over my suet feeder and they always tear open our garbage bags on Garbage day. Next week, there's going to a little something extra in those bags. You tell them I said that.

Back to Lush, I'm surprised at the amount of wasteful packaging Lush NA used to transport a simple shampoo bar and a tiny jar of powder. And, IDK, maybe it's just me, but if Lush NA products are made in Canada, aren't the transportation costs (both to the consumer and the environment) wasteful? *gets off soapbox*

No Lush here, they ship from Madrid, and the shipping rates are incredibly expensive. And the products are more expensive than in UK or in the USA. And their customer service is just horrible but... I can't live with Angels on Bareskin, Fresh Farmacy and Karme smell... so I'll keep ordering...

LOL!

Yes yes we know your fetish with old men Mandy ;)

LOL yes the extra would be soapy popcorn lol!

What you get from lush anyway!?

Mmm lush na def does not have the same moral "green" value as uk does!

I don't think Lush NA concerns itself over much with a greener, friendly planet the way Lush UK does. Lush UK is borderline freakish with some of their ideas. Hell they got Auntie Pam saying not to use ice because it's bad for the penguins. I love her but I can't stop using ice just to be friendly to antarctic.

Agreed 100% fuel=pollution? hello!

I purchased the 'New!' shampoo bar and Silky Underwear Dusting Powder.

SUDP is rather nice, but I think the cinnamon and clove oil in the shampoo bar caused me to develop dermatitis on my face and chest. My skin looks like an orange peel (it's all bumpy now) and itches like crazy. I might have to return 'New!' and get Karma Komba instead.

I hope the folks at Lush NA will be civil about this (apparently you have to obtain a return authorization from Cerebro before you can send a product back).

Seriously you may run into a prob returning. If you do tell me and I can see what I can do as I know a few folk over there!
