UK Haul

I got a sickeningly large box from my mate that lives in Oxford today. Inside was enough crisps to last me for the next two years of my life and possibly beyond (I'm not a fan of crisps here in the US and a majority of my mates in England know how much I adore crisps their end of the pond thus whenever they send me a package it ends up loaded with bags of crisps), almost as many packages of digestives as crisps were also inside, a box of Roses, a box of Heroes, a ton of Hotel mini slabs, general Doctor Who themed bits and bobs, tons of Lush (Included the Muse's beloved 17 Cherry Tree Lane) plus, here's the best part, a HUGE amount of Pout, Pop, Pixi, and Boots!

We got some Pixi Palettes here, some Soap and Glory bits from Boots (been wanting to try it), a ton of Pout including blush (I've never tried any Pout Blush), many Pop bits I haven't yet tried! I'll be taking pics and doing reviews shortly ;)

YAY!

So I guess this basically means I'll be doing two things this Holiday: 1. Getting fat off British Chocolate, Biscuits, and Crisps and 2. Giving myself a Make Over using all this product!

Anyone wanna come over?

Much love to my mate Shazza for sending me such a freaking array of awesomeness and spoiling me rotten!

Love you!

Lucky!
A couple weeks ago - when you announced that Pout's website was closing - I hurried on over and everything was SOLD OUT! Can you believe that? Crazy! Even Stila's bargain page hasn't sold out.
And, England always has the best chocolate ;)
For now, Roxi

I'll hop a JetBlue and be right over, Muse! Snacks, chocolate and makeup - really, is there anything better than that? Well, add in some Japanese beauty mags, manga and anime for good measure.

I added a whole bunch of stuff to my stash last week. It all came at once in the mail and a few things I I picked up in-store:

-BB Burnt Sugar palette
-New Chantecaille paraben-free lipstick (this stuff is like buttah!)
-MAC Stylistics lipstick in the berry color, gloss in the berry color and two highlight powders (can't remember their names)
-MAC Finery Plum Lips set and Cool Lips Lipglass set,
-NARS Ita brush
-MAC Metal X in Pure Ore
-MAC Painterly Paint Pot
-MAC lipstick in Darkside
-Shu liquid liner

And...I received my elf gift, which is a secret santa-type program Beauty Buzz runs. It was a MUFE Aqua Eyes mini set, and these pencils are incredible!

From ebay, I have my Lunasol Geminate palette coming. Hopefully it'll be here this week!

My second IoE order arrived today too. Took forever, but it was worth the wait. The Sweet Potato Yum Yum bath cream is divine!

Now, just one small Japanese order from Adam Beauty or JPMon, and I'll be set. It's a sickness, I tell you!

Hello The Muse,

I have to admit that I *love* crisps as well. It is among my guilty pleasures. Somehow British crisps just taste a little better! :)

What's your favorite flavor?

Hi Roxi!

I know! Pout was ridiculously fast! You'll see tons popping up now on UK E-bay and MUA so look out and maybe you'll nab some ;)

I heard that the q for shipping was ridiculous and people were waiting ages for items to be shipped!

I didn't grab anything from Stila's bargain page but that was some pretty good deals as well! Wonder when Too Faced will have their VIP Event!

England does indeed have the best chocos!!!!

*hugs*

But of course my dear lol! I'm obsessed with finding just the right biscuits to go with my tea! It's difficult here in the US though hehe!

One guilty pleasure I have is those amazing Rolo biscuits they used to have at Tescos! It was caramel and chocolate and a biscuit all rolled into one so yum!

Hugs ;)

British crisps are an utter guilty pleasure for me. I avoid sweets and crisps here in the US but my downfall are brit crisps and biscuits!

My fav flavor hands down is smoky bacon! But I really love the taste scentsations as well like Lime Chili etc..

Also chicken roast, marmite, sunday roast, steak and onions, prawn..god too many to count. We have NONE of these flavors stateside. We are kinda limited to salt, salt and vinegar, sour cream and onion and a few other boring flavors!

I also love the Thai Rib flavor! So yum! Plus they aren't particularly healthy but they are at least cooked in a "good" for you oil unlike American crisps!

What's your fav?!

I'm very lucky with good friends! Friends are almost as important as family sometimes :)

Hello The Muse,

My favorite flavor is the good old cheese and onion (and it has to be by Walkers). This is by far the flavor I buy the most. I also like prawn cocktail and Marmite.

As for what I call the posh crisps, the Walkers Sensations crisps are fantastic. My favorite is the Sweet Thai Chili flavor. It is divinely tasty! I absolutely love it and I know several of my friends here would choose this as their favorite as well.

I also love handmade crisps. Love the crunchiness. They are relatively pricey but I do buy some from time to time as little treats...:)

Love biscuits as well, especially custard cream cookies... :)

'ello PJ!

I like cheese and onion too! it's so funny you say it has to be Walkers as I love Walkers too! Mccoy's has the ridge cut and I just hate chips with ridges plus I find the Walker way more flavorful!

I kinda have a love affair with the Pickled Onion too!

If you say Prawn flavored chips to anyone in the US they'll give you a weird look but they are sooooo tasty!

I call 'em posh too lol! The Sensations has some great ones. I like the Roasted Chicken with a buncha herbs forgot the name. It was sooooo flavorful! It had basil and a buncha other yummie things! Mmmmm! I find the sodium content and fat is a bit more on the sensations but damn if they aren't just gorgeous and yummy!

I like the handmade as well but they are pretty pricey as compared to the smaller bags of Walkers!

I'm getting hungry lol!

I love caramel and chocolate digestives best!

Hello The Muse,

I am just here again to echo what you said:

- I don't like ridges either.

- Prawn flavored chips are tasty.

- I love almost all the Walkers Sensations flavors. They all seem to have more depth and layers of flavors, with all the herbs and spices. Lovely!

- Love everything with caramel...

Well, and I am feeling hungry too.

:)

Mmmmm you aren't the only feeling hungry! Me too!

I concur the Walkers Sensations are too yummie! We don't have such a complicated crisp here in the US. Nothing like it at all!!!!!

Why do all the good things have to be so bad for us!?

It's unfair!

Love ya!

Girls -

Cheese and Onion?

Thai Spicy?

No no no. There's only one Roast Beef Monster Munch. And Kettle Chips Salt and Balsamic Vinegar...mmm. It hurts my mouth though because Kettle Chips are so hard and the vinegar is a killer!

Salt and Vingear Discos are good too!

*goes to search for snacks*

LOL Rows :)

Now the roast beef I'm all over but the vinegar is one I skip!

I love vinegar on a greasy chip butty or just on my chips in general but NOT on my crisps ;)

You made me hungry and I had to google roast beef flavored monster munch lol!

Is that a new flavor as I'm always after the cheese monster munch but never heard of the roast beef!

*grumble* <--my stomach
