Too Faced Liquif-Eye Review

I've been using Too Faced Liquif-Eye for ages and I'm always on the fence about whether it's a staple product for me or just another flash in the pan that's interesting but not really worth it's price tag!

I use this quite alot to be honest and I really love it but the price tag may turn some off! At $17.50 you get a small bottle of liquid liner and an applicator. What's so special about that? The liner is actually a clear formula that you can use to turn any eyeshadow in your collection into an eyeliner.

It's easy enough to use. Just swipe the applicator onto your favorite eyeshadow and line your eyes! Presto! A million eyeliners at your fingertips thanks to one little bottle of potion!

Nifty right?

I guess you might be thinking that you could do the exact same thing with water and I have tried but I find this actually makes my eyeshadow turned eyeliner waterproof, smudge proof, and long wearing!

After each use I normally wipe this down with a damp tissue and the product comes off easy enough for my next use so I'm not lining my eyes with yesterday's color so to speak! The applicator is nice and hard so it makes lining my eyes easy! It's not a soft bristle brush it's almost like the point of a fine pencil so lining is easy and smooth without a bunch of drama of bristles screwing up the look you are trying to achieve! Dipping this in Urban Decay Oil Slick Eyeshadow and doing a cat eye with this is a dream come true! It comes out flawlessly and beautiful!

I honestly can say you might be able to find a cheaper alternative but I really like the applicator, the formula, and the general idea of how well this works!

It's in my traincase!

Use it?
Love it?
Tell me!

Hi Muse. It's very pleasure to read your blog, and all those nice pictures. I just have a little request, do you carry a makeup bag in your purse everyday? If so,what's your favorite in there and are they the same or you are changing to different products?

Oh,it's Kitty again. I just wanna let you know that I love the blue and navy like color on your eyes better than pinks. I didn't see lots of purple looks so far, as purple is my favorite color. But I just like colors on your face. They are so adorable.

Thanks for the review of this product...I was really curious and on the fence about it since liquid liners always end up looking like goop on me (of course, it could be that my "smile lines" are deepening...bleh). Lots of good info! Cheers, chickie!

Hello kitty!

Thank you so much! I really appreciate your lovely comments/compliments!

I do indeed carry a makeup bag in my purse everyday :)

I guess my products change everyday =) Such as my blush, gloss, etc! I think this is a fantastic question though!

How about I do a post about what's in my bag daily!! And you can see for yourself what i carry around with me ;)

I think it'll make a fantastic blog post what do you think?

Hugs!

Hi Diva!

How are you!?

Thank you for the comment!

My smile lines are deepening too so don't feel bad! i've noticed it's more and more difficult to cover up the bags/lines lol!

I think the applicator is great on this because it's so slim and pointy!

Thanks for stopping by lovie :)

good to see you!

Love Love Love You!!!
You can't imagine how useful the information is. Sometimes, all the colors look fantastic, but you just don't know how good they are on the face, and it's impossible to try them all. But everything is on here. Wooo. And whenever you have time, I have a little request. I liked purple look as I just said, but I kinda wanna beige, brown, gold like color now, because they are not too colorful for work.Do you have any suggestions?

Hello Miss Kitty!

Thank You :) You've no idea how much it means to me that you are enjoying my blog!

I'm a bit of a cosmetic addict LOL so sooner or later it definately pops up here on my blog =)

I'd be happy to do purple and a brown, beige, gold one! Have you looked through my pass Face of the Day looks? I have several gold, brown and beige looks plus one or two purple!

I find that browns and golds make my eyes pop!

Suggestions for golds are Urban Decay Midnight Cowboy, the new bobbi brown metallics palette in burnt sugar, and nars nightstar :) I'm sure there are dozens more I love but these are a few of my favs!

browns I suggest MAC copperclast! It's such a gorgeous reddish brown color! I love it!

beige Hmm that's a hard one but I am loving the new MAC Antiquetease color in engaging :)

Originally, I was thinking of buying majolica makeups. So,one day when I was on youtube, I just randomly searched majolica and it reached one of your radios. I watched most of the radios, cus I kinda liked the way you talk, quite free, casual like chitchats between friendsSo,then I looked for your space for more interesting information. That's how i know you.

It's good to know that it can be easily cleaned. The only thing that had prevented me from buying it up until now was the fear it would get all contaminated and muddy. I could save a fortune in liquid liners!

hey mandy!

I'm the same way! I find that if I don't get all the shadow off I can just run it under some running water and it comes off quite cleanly. The only trouble I have is with blacks. So a spray with some brush cleaner helps that ;)

Tell me whatcha think if you get it!

*hugs*
