Jill Stuart Christmas Coffret 2007

The Muse has caved.

After much consideration the Jill Stuart Christmas Coffret somehow ended up in her cart and she couldn't say no. So she's gone and purchased it!

Bad Muse, Bad!

hehee.. yes, I am procrasinating.. This week's been so long, the weather and everything, argh.

You are so bad Muse! See, I have a friend who's visiting Japan at the end of the Nov. and I've asked her if she could do some CP for me. She gladly said yes, and only if I won't go after if those expensive compacts breaks apart in her luggage. Yea, by this time they know how crazy I am with my makeup.

So I've been thinking and pondering, loosing sleep over not WHAT I should get, but WHICH of the WHAT that I shouldn't get to get (get me?) lol.

I've never had any Jill Stuart and I am lemming it hard because of all the gorgeous pix you posted (especially the blushes and e/s). I wanna tell her just to get the whole line for me, but I'm afraid it'd be over weight when she flys back. Sigh... the dilemma..

I need to find out WHAT is exclusively out in Japan and WHICH one I probably will never be able to get in state side and WHAT I won't spend 15% over sale price to get off of ebay.

This set is definitely on my shopping list, but I'm worried about the color of the palette as I have way too many pink/brown themed ones.

hmmm... if you were me, what would you get?

I'm working late tonight ;) I have a ton of work on my desk that so needs completing before I go or do anything this evening :) So procrastination has been my little friend today hehe! The weather has been disgusting ugh! I'm freezing!

One sec we are hot the next we are cold! Gotta love NY!

I'm so scared of cosmetics and the airlines :( I wasn't like that prior to 9/11 as you could just carry it on and have no fear it'd bust in your luggage. Now I'm scared of 1. having it bust in my luggage. 2. attempt to carry it on and god forbid them telling me we have to throw it away!

lol I got you ;)

Gosh JS is such a lovely line of makeup ;)

Rumors have flown that JS may make it's way stateside but who knows when that'll happen!

If you go for JS I'd most definately go for the eye palettes as they are so pretty. The blushes are great as well.

if you love MJ now would be a great time to have her get you a ton because it's so dirt cheap in Japan as compared to e-bay and online shops that charge 50% higher than cost!

Take a peek at my past JS entries as I have all the palettes posted and some are surprisingly light in color (not a buncha brown).

Gosh that's a tricky question as the Muse is spoiled and wants EVERYTHING hehehe :)

JS, Lunasol, Susie NY, Gransenbon, and MJ are on the top of my list for sure. I'd go over the Biteki mini mag and see what appeals to you Christmas wise (if she'll be there for the christmas collections).

Many items are readily available online but this is a nice time to nab items and save cash!

I'm doing a wishlist for Japanese collections shortly ;) Maybe you'll find something on the list that wows you ;)

You'll firgure it out! All good makeup junkies do hehe!

Hugs!

Where'd you get it, Muse? I want, I need, I have to have it!!

I didn't make it to the mall today for the MAC palettes. I should just save my cash and blow it on Japanese stuff!

BTW, do you know where I can get the Anna Sui Christmas items?

totally caved taryn and got a friend to buy it for me! I'm so diseased.

I'm on my way to the mall now ;) To be honest with the MAC palettes going the way they are going I'd say you have a good idea saving it for j-cosmetics.

Anna Sui is tricky. No online shops sell it. The only thing I recommend is searching E-bay or finding a lovely Cozy girl to CP it for you! The prices are a bit different in Singapore than they are in Japan but it's worth it as the collection looks very nice this year.

btw kelly is selling the coffret's for $99 each (shipping included) and 5% off this week! Dunno if she'll extend the 5% discount to the coffret.

But according to her the waitlist is 21 people so far and no guarantees!

You can try the Japanese CPer's as well! They may be just about ready to do a big spree soon!

I believe they wanted $130SPD for it plus shipping (this is a last resort in my opinion).

I was looking and it appears she took down the little holiday pic!

I'd email her and ask!

This was the original link:

Hey Iz,

just holler anytime you need Anna Sui stuff. We have several counters here :-) I'm pretty sure we'll get most of the same holiday stuff as Japan.

It's kind of sad that the JS coffrets are being priced at such rip-off prices. I'd rather not buy into the madness and feed that greed. Especially since there's plenty of other great choices around!

hey iris ;)

Thanks babe :) You're my angel :) It looks good doesn't it? You getting any?

Agreed :( The coffrets are being sold for at least $30 on the price which is obscene to say the least!

I'm glad Mai was able to get it for me at cost because I couldn't see myself paying $30-35 on top of the cost!

You're idea to wait for Spring collections is totally spot on! Plenty of interesting bits coming out Spring!

Love ya!
*hugs*
