Lunasol Geminate Eyes Ruby Palette FOTD

Okee dokee I know a few of you who were dead curious how the the Lunasol Geminate Eyes were!

A few weeks ago I did a Face of the Day which I failed to post so here it is:

I only used the Lunasol Geminate Eye Palette in Ruby to create the look nothing else. I think it probably came out crummy. Not dark enough. I'd have liked more of a bold look but the fault is my own as I was using a light touch as the palette is just too pretty to touch if you know what I mean ;)

This is a fantastic palette and I highly recommend getting at least one or all of the palettes! The best part about the look is finishing it off with the middle glitter layer which really makes the eye POP!

Overall the palette is a breeze to work with. The colors are highly pigmented, they blend easily and work into the eye flawlessly. This look I created came out a bit sloppy I guess but I'd say with time, patience, and a bit of a heavier hand you can create an absolutely awesome eye look! You don't need much else aside from liner and mascara to complete the look! I don't normally apply liner on my upper lid during most eye looks because I just feels it's a bit TOO much as I am already using such vibrant colors to begin with but these palettes seem to be just the right shades that you can complete a look with a bit of black liner without appearing overly done up! I didn't use any liner in this FOTD but as I said I think a bit would have tied the look up and it wouldn't appear "too much"!

I can't wait to try the other palettes now! The only thing that sorta disappoints me is that Lunasol failed to provide face charts or even a video using these palettes! I'd love to have seen either or both to get some ideas of looks they envision creating with these palettes!

Other than that minor rant I'd say go get 'em girls!

Oh... I want Rudy now! Luckily they are not LE so I wait alittle longer to buy it. Nice FOTD. A less bold look is nice too! ;)

I love that look! I found a site that has the Lunasol for $60 and I've been thinking about caving on one, but it's so darn much! I might have to get the Ruby though, because the colors look so great with your fair skin.

Are they really smooth to apply? I think you should do a look with the BB Metallics next!

thanks taryn ;) You're such a doll!

Ah you must be looking on Kelly's website!

ichibankao? She has 'em for $59 with shipping included.

That's sorta high :( as they are normally $38 normally! Maybe if you purchase other stuff she'll cut you a deal. Normally she's kinda sorta good with that.

They are good easy application in my opinion. I'm such a sucker and didn't really apply much pressure to the palette so the color didn't come out as vibrant and eyepopping as I wanted. I wanna try again with a heavier hand and see what I can create!

You got it! BB Metallics I'll do tomorrow deal?

I did this a few weeks ago and never posted it.

I've been in non makeup mode for a bit.....but I'll definitely do the metallic one for you ;)

Hugs!

Hi..

Actually there's a small chart with instructions on how to use the different shades in the Lunasol e/s palette but its on the inside of the box. You've got to cut it open to see it. :)

I didn't notice it initally either.

You're welcome! I got 3 of the geminate palettes too but I find that the middle shade is a little harder to apply because its so gritty.. lol..

hey again ;)

I used a big fluffy brush to apply it and it worked a charm! It is gritty in texture but a fluffy brush really helps with application ;)

Thanks again for the face chart! Can't wait to look and see!

What a doll you are! I love how you always combine the hairband with the clothes, it makes it look so thought-through without being silly! Love the red on you.

And your reviews are so easy to follow! I feel like it's me putting on the makeup when I'm reading it!
