MAC Pro Blushes

Ah do insert a happy sigh right here my pretties!

Your Muse has just popped back from the MAC Pro shop and she got two fabulous blushes that she's in lust with at the moment!

Around July or maybe June MAC Pro had introduced a few blushes and eyeshadows (Visit with Christine and you can see swatches of all the shadows and blushes that were released!) that were exclusive to Pro shops only. It's been a while since I dragged myself into a MAC Pro store so I decided to hop in today as I needed a bit of cheering up!

My little eyes did indeed spy two gorgeous shades of blush that were introduced in the line I was just talking about above and those are Full Fuchsia and Salsarose.

I'm positive if I showed these two colors to a professional makeup artist they'd yell and scream at me for purchasing such loud, bright, vibrant colors for my complexion but bloody hell I'm so used to breaking every cosmetic law in the book that I firgure I might as well go on and not stop now!

Both colors are utterly illegal and it's possible I could be arrested for purchasing these vibrant shades but like I said I'm just not caring! I love these!

Full Fuchsia is just what you'd expect from a fuchsia colored blush! Holy cow it might very well glow in the dark if I switch the lights off my dears! It's quite full on! When I wear it I look like I'm stepped in from a really cold winter's night and I just adore that look as it makes me appear younger than I am hehe...!

Full Fuchsia

The shade is truly fabulous and I'm absolutely ecstatic to use it with some vibrant shade of fushica eyeshadow (Hey why stop at blush! I want the ENTIRE look!).

I'm not entirely sure how many people (or myself for that matter) can pull this color off but I'm positive you'll (and I) will have tons of fun trying to find just the right look using it!

Now Salsarose is much more subdued than Full Fuchsia (not by much). Salsarose is a coral red color that again gives me the just out of the cold (or pinched) look! It's just as vibrant and gorgeous as Full Fuchsia and I'm really looking forward to using it in a full makeup look!

Salsarose

Overall, I'm so saddened I hadn't picked these up when they were originally released because truly they are gems! Several other colors I wanted were out of stock and are equally in your face vibrant and yum!

If you live near a Pro shop do stop in to peek at these! If not you can always dial any Pro shop in the US and they'll promptly deliver these or anything else your little heart desires for $7 UPS shipping fee!

Your Muse(y) approves of full on blush colors and highly suggests having a peek at these to see if they are just right for you ;)

I love orange shadows too! Orange is one of my favourite colours, yellow being my first. (Although I can't pronounce it, it comes out as Yelelelo. Haha!)

Those blushes are AMAZING! I've never tried blush before, because most of them I find, that I like, have shimmer in them! (Same goes for Bronzer, although I see Jelly Pong Pong has a shimmer free one, so I may try that out!) and I don't really like shimmer all over my face, I try and save that for my eyes. :P

I was also wondering, what's your take on Nars eyeshadows? I was browsing around and saw a duo for £23, but I'm not sure, so any advice you have on those would be great! :D

From my screen Salsarose looks like Dollymix, just a different texture (this is matte?)
Just do it lightly and I'm sure it'll be fine.
And the thought of the The Muse without loud and vibrant makeup (and her trademark head band) will be really strange!!!! :D

Hi again Bambi!!!!!!!

You looked awesome with the liner and I was loving your idea to use New Vegas as a shadow! Quite clever my dear!

I love yellows and golds ;) hehe I'm sure it sounds quite cute with your accent ;)

I'm all for shimmer! hehe! If you hate it you can always get a stain! Stains are fab and yay no shimmer :)

I hate bronzer with a passion :( Bit I'm loving the Jelly Pong Pong one! it goes on gorgeously natural and peachy keen!

Nars makes good, solid, pigmented colors but I must say your side of the pond it's quite expensive :( One of my favorite colors from Nars is nightstar! The duos are quite good as I have a few that I love! The price at £23 is too much though. they are only $21usd here. If I were you I'd see if I could get it for far less on e-bay love!

Hello Lovelyloey :)

It's kinda matte but it does have a little tiny bit of sparkle. Not much you can see though so I guess we can settle with matte! I'm not sure I know what Dollymix looks like (gotta google that)!

I think I'll use my 187 to do it nice and light :)

LOL you've made my day with your comment! Indeed there would be no muse without a headband and vibrant eyeshadow hehehehehe!

Thanks so much for the comment and the laugh :) I needed to smile today!

Hugs!

I think brighter colors are always fun, even though I don't take advantage of playing with them as much as I could. We'd love to see what these two shades look like on you! I'm sure they are gaw-geous!

Oh, don't worry - I know what it's like! :)

I can't possibly tell you how much I loved those colors! Lol, the MA had an idea that she should put Uppity on my waterline...and damn! I guess she was a bit shaky-handed 'cause she painted my contact lens in gold! Yikes, ouch! It was like a 24 carat facial on my little contact... fortunately, it rubbed off when I got home and used some contact fluid on it. Well it really brought out the blue in my eyes! :D

And the Queen's Sin was even more lovely than I had imagined. I'm usually not too keen on the frosts but this one is perfect!

Hugs!

'ello my queen ;)

holy cow lol gold contact lenses! hehe! I never tried putting any on my waterline yet. I normally stick to boring black for my waterline! Lucky enough I don't wear contact lenses lol! I'd have them smeared in blacktrack if I did lol!

Gosh Queen's Sin is gorgeous! I'm thinking I need a backup!!!!!!!!!

Hugs!
love ya!
