How to Flatter a Muse

The Muse is most flattered today!

Kiss and Makeup have linked back to her review on the Bare Escentuals Smoky "V" Eye Kit!

You can view their entry by clicking here.

When a blog that I adore and love features me on their page I can't help but be tickled and flattered over it ;)

Thanks to the team at Kiss and Makeup for making the Muse's Monday all the brighter ;)

By the way check out the price on the kit on the other side of the pond as compared to our price of $32 (and I paid $30 on E-bay)!

Hey Muse,

Hope you had a great weekend. I know I did! Because you left a whole lot of goodies for me to read before I started my week.

sorry, but... LUSH UPDATE! I went to the soho store and discovered one of the ladies in there is extremely nice and helpful. Everynoe else is still.. eh.. typical I guess..

So I bought my Mask of Magniminty, Ocean Salt (btw, it says face and body scrub on it, so what was the problem with me using it on my face? stupid SA), Godiva shampoo solid, Sex Bomb, Sakura, and French Kiss bath bombs. They had a promotion of buying $45 and over getting a free hair styling thing, so I picked up Kings of Mods.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the Godiva shampoo solid, omg, it lathers like dream and cleans without over stripping my hair and my hair's soooo soft and shiny afterwards. I don't think I can go back to regular shampoo!

Ocean Salt - I wish I scooped out the course salt on top before I mixed it. But it definitely scrubs well and smells good. I just think the course salt is too harsh for my skin, but would be perfect for my elbows and heels.

Mask of Magniminty - oh yummm... soooo pepperminty, I would have loved it in the summer. Again, I found it work better as a scrub though.. because it has those course grain in it.

Sexy Bomb - I cannot believe it's 6 bucks for one of those things.. so expensive.. but I had to try it. I love the smell and it's so fun to see it fizz up.. but does that little flower do anything? It doesn't lather up or anything.. so I just let it flow around and sqashed it at the end.

Haven't used the other products yet, but I have high hopes for kings of the mod, although I don't use any hair styling product, but i will give it a shot.

also, i snatched up the Mineral Fusion Kit at Whole Foods this weekend. wanted to see what the hype is all about, since I'm a huge MMU fan.

thanks for the pix on Tarte, I'm waittingggggg..... for the friensd and family sale~~~~~~ It's killlllliiiinnnnnnggggg meeeeee~!!!!

lol, ttyl

Steph ;)

Your comments light up an otherwise dreary monday afternoon ;)

I had a very relaxing weekend! Didn't do much but it was nice just to catch up a bit of telly and read and such ;) Hope yours was fab!

yay! At least you got someone to help you out that was nice that's good! I believe, Brian works at Greenwich, he's the manager there. Nice bloke. He's normally great.

There used to be a girl in Soho who was also great, Julie.

As of late though I rarely venture into the shop and just order it online!

Tell me how king of mods is! I haven't tried any of the new hair gel/styling bits and pieces ;)

ahhh! the salt is kinda harsh! It doesn't effect me much at all but it's definitely good for rough elbows and knees!

Put your MoM in the fridge it makes a nice cooling pepperminity feel from the fridge to the face :) and you're right it's great in the summer!

LOL the flower doesn't actually do anything it's just a pleasant little surprise lol! However I use it on my elbows to scrub a little as it's super moist ;)

You have to tell me how those minerals are I'm very very very curious!

I was going to go to whole foods on sunday but I ended up just doing my main shop at Trader Joe's was easier and a shorter distant :)

LOL Stila has friends and family at the moment so Sephora isn't so far away ;)

On the topic of bath bombs being expensive! I agree! They are far cheaper in the UK :( Wish we had similiar price bracket here!

However, I'll be doing an blog entry soon about cheap, fragrant, awesome bath bombs that'll knock your socks off and cost you $3-4 or less!

Love you lots!
Hugs!

Thanks for the update on your purchases I love hearing about them!!!!!!!!

You'll have to be our guest reviewer soon ;)
