Laneige Slide Compact in Light Pink

ZOMG! How much do you love the baby pink slide compact from Laneige? I freaking adore this thing!

I have the standard boring blue slide compact but I so want the baby pink one as it goes so well with my iPod and iPhone!

Ooooo so pretty!

This compact is so geeky chic! I really like the formula of the moisture foundation plus it has SPF which makes me a happy Muse and now even better we got the awesome pink sliding compact!

The Muse needs this!

hi again! i just wanted to let you know that since i discovered your blog awhile back i check it like a million times a day. i really love the style of your posts and love that you're a fellow new yorker.

i'm loving your laneige posts, because although i'm korean i know very little about korean cosmetics. do you have any idea how the coloring of these compacts are? i can find very little information about the colors online, but i MUST have one they're too cute!

hey jennifer!!!!!!

How are you!?

Thanks so much! It's great to have a fellow new yorker following my posts :)
*blush* thanks for loving what I do here so much it means the world to me!

Korea has some really great brands ;) and great dramas for that matter ;)

Are you wanting the sliding compact? They come in several formulas. I recommend the moisture one as it's a great texture.

They come in three colors. Lighter, Medium, and Darker.

If you check on the singapore site (it's in English) you can see the colors offered and also see the different formulas for the foundation.

The best part is these are made with asian skin in mind so they'll work a treat for your skin!

I really love Laneige. It's a great brand and they do some really special products :)

Here's the info for the singaporean site:
http://www.laneige.com.sg/m-5pact.htm

Sadly I find the Singapore site the only one easy to navigate. The chinese site is near impossible to navigate :(

If you need help locating these let me know as I know of several good places to get 'em!

Thanks for your fab comment!

thanks so much for the link to the site! i found i guess what's the american site and it didn't even have this product listed. i think i'd probably be the lightest shade but i'd love some help as to where would be the best place to buy it!

also, do you have any suggestions as to a good korean-brand cream compact foundation? i use to be obsessed with this versace one (came in a TDF compact) but of course it was discontinued years ago.

and i have to agree that korea makes amazing dramas, although the last one that i watched was full house (i know so long ago!). but after reading your post about coffee prince it's definitely on my list to buy!

hello muse :)
if you're interested in laneige and other korean cosmetics brands, i suggest you check out some korean cosmetics stores. i know there are a lot of those in new york, around queens. i'm korean and i buy my korean cosmetics at a korean cosmetics store around my area (in GA). i love your blog. i subscribed to you on youtube and then followed you all the way here! love your makeup collection, i'm so jealous! i have the sliding compact but it's silver on the outside. i basically bought it because the packaging drew me in. haha. good luck with all your other beauty finds!

Hey again Jennifer hugs!

You're most welcome! Each of the sites have different products as they are available to that country. I didn't see this particular palette on a few of the asian sites and only noticed it on the Singapore one ;)

Go firgure!

If you email me I can give you a list of mua'ers that are happy to cp it for ya ;) Or if you like you can actually purchase it from www.facial-shop.com very good reasonable prices here. Sadly she doesn't have the moisture formula available but if you email her she'll get it for you. Her name is Tiffany and she's really sweet and very accommodatingly by offering discounts on multiply purchases, etc...!

I've never used any asian brand cream compact foundations but I highly recommend what I use which is the Morgen Schick Hide and Highlight palette. I have very dry skin and my foundation of choice is this. However I don't need much foundation and I only apply to my tzone area. If you use the same method for application I suggest the Hide it Hightlight. It's a creamy based foundation that's good for dry skin!

I also noticed that Bobbi Brown now has a moisturizing cream compact which I want to try. Curious how it is.

As far as foundation goes if you're looking for a liquid I can recommend a few different japanese brands that are excellent! I don't normally like liquid but I've used a few that work wonders ;)

If you search my blog a few articles about Morgen will pop up ;)

I love K-Dramas :) Wahoo Full house! I love me some rain! Gorgeous yummie let it rain on me lol!

Coffee Prince is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo AMAZING! You must see it. It wasn't like any K-Dramas I've seen, and I've seen plenty! Was really cute. The typical story plot is there: girl is poor boy is rich family doesn't like poor girl...etc..but the comedy and the fact that she was playing a he really made it different and unique!

If you live in New York and have a car you can head to a little asian video store on Northern Blvd in Flushing and they rent it for $1.59 a disc. They also sell some dvds! I actually brought it from Book Off but sometimes it's costly to purchase so people prefer renting! I can give you the exact addy of the video store just let me know!

phew that was long! Hope I answered your questions :)

Hi serenity!

Thanks so much sweetie. I've seen a few asian shops that sell cosmetics but not many. It's funny you mentioned queens as I was just saying above about a video store in flushing :) Northern Blvd is full of great asian shops :)

Thanks so much for loving my blog! it really means the world to me you take time out to read it everyday *blush*

Aww thanks! I think sometimes I have a bit too much insanity :) but I do adore collecting :)

I have the blue one actually but I'm really loving the pink!

I brought it for the packaging too lol! Obviously we are sick people hehehe!

I ended up loving the formula of the foundation too though so that counts for something right?

Thanks again for your ultra sweet comment!

Many hugs!

Hey Gez!!!!!

It's a foundation powder ;) LOL! No worries you'll be broke after reading my blog heheheh!

Not really. Iphone pretty much takes care of it all but I'm anal so I carry my ipod for playing in my car, or when I do my morning walk, etc... I'm currently treating the iphone like it's my first born child so the idea of taking it with me on a walk in the morning scares me to death. I don't want to actually get a fingermark on it!

LOL!

I got mine for xmas and I adore it so far too!

It's really made life a bit more organized!

Dear Izzie,

The Laneige counters in Singapore now carry their base and colour makeup ranges so if you need a CP, just let me know :-) I don't think we get all the stuff they release, like I haven't seen that super gorgeous 9 eyeshadow palette that Fleckenschnitte bought off Ebay but we have the permanent range.

i'll definitely be e-mailing you, but you'd metioned something about MUAers CPing something, and i thinks someone else mentioned it subsequently--unfortunately i have no idea what CP means :).

and i'd love to hear your suggestions for a good japanese foundation. i've tried everything out there and i'm just not satisfied. i do like sk-ii's airtouch foundation but it's not really for everyday usage. thanks for being so great!
