Bobbi Brown on QVC

Bobbi Brown was on QVC yesterday and like the strange little person I am I Tivo'ed the show as I wasn't home last night to watch it for myself!

Everything looked quite yummie even though I'm not a huge fan of Bobbi Brown I did end up ordering the Face Touch Up Palette which came with a Mini Concealer Brush.

The price tag is ridiculous at $58 USD but I've read on MUA how very amazing Bobbi's concealers are that I was tempted to buy this!

If you watched this you might have seen the really sh*t job Bobbi was doing applying this to the model's face! I seriously thought she was doing a really crummy job with application however it didn't sway me from totally wanting the palette!

As of late I've noticed my eyes appear very tired and my dark circles are showing quite badly. I've no idea what changed but that's about the gist of my eye area lately.

I normally use Benefit Bo-ing and I truly can't recommend it enough but lately I've found that I need something more creamy so I've started to use the Dior Skinflash Radiance Booster Pen. This pen has been sent from the Gods above to conceal my wrinkles, my dark circles, and make my tired eyes pop! Yes, it is better than Guerlain's standard click pen! For serious! I love this thing but I hate the freaking price tag! The pen is $33 USD and I've never actually used a concealer pen so I'm not sure how long this is going to last me! It feels like it may go quickly which is why I'm wincing at the price tag where as Benefit Bo-ing is $18 USD and it's lasts me for a year I seriously doubt that the Booster Pen is going to last me that long!

I decided that I'd try something different. I'm a creature of habit with concealers, foundations, and skincare. I rarely change or try anything new and I stick with what works for me. However, this palette intrigued me and I decided that I'd go ahead and dive in and try something new!

I believe this little palette is exclusive to QVC. I'm not familiar enough with Bobbi's standard offerings but I looked on her site and I see no mention of this little compact anywhere so I think it's safe to say this may have been introduced before but is no longer available and now exclusive to QVC.

At $58 USD the pricetag is making me cringe in agony! I don't mind shelling out that much for an eyeshadow palette but for some reason dropping $58 on a concealer palette gives me nightmares!

The palette consists of 4 colors plus it comes with a brush!

I haven't yet gotten this as I just ordered it yesterday but expect a review shortly!

Want this for your own? Head on over to QVC and get it while the getting is good (Item Number A73667)! It appears it's selling out uber fast!

Have this already?

Tell me are you loving it?

Me too! You get such great steals on designer stuff! At least some of it is packaged with a brush, or a case, something extra to sweeten the deal!

I just got a haul of the Pink Raspberry stuff after telling myself I didn't want or need any of it aside from cream blushes!

I'll be featuring it soon ;)

WAHOO for the Q Card ;)

I don't have this particular palette, but I cannot gush enough about Bobbi's concealer. It has changed my beauty life!

The Pink Raspberry stuff is delicious, but I was stupid for buying the palette, when I know that I rarely use palettes. I just agreed to swap for it on MUA.

Very tempting. I know what you mean, I am always searching for a new and different concealer/foundation/etc. Nothing ever seems perfect! I would go for it... althugh its pricey. BB really knows her stuff!

hey again toya :)

I just hauled some of the Pink Raspberry stuff myself after denying I'd ever buy any of it! I'm eagerly awaiting it to come!

I'm a palette whore so this will definately be added to my collection with much glee ;)

YAY another good review for the concealer. You've no idea how relieved I am to hear you say that as I was worried about dropping $58 on a concealer palette ;)

I can't WAIT to try it!

Hi Cassandra

Yup! The longer side is a yellow based powder to set the foundation and the concealer brush is dual ended with a rather puffy brush to apply it ;)

I WISH I had the vid! I could transfer it from tivo but it takes ages to do the transfer, rip the encryption, and finally upload! I'll be here f
or a hundred years ;)

Even some of the girls on MUA were cackling over her application of the concealer.

She put it on alright I guess but her blending was awful and you could see the girl had concealer on.

I also noticed that she applied it a little too close to the eye. She had it practically on the waterline.

It was a rather strange way to apply!

I know what you mean; I'm lusting after Tricia Sawyer's 'Eye Slept' cream, but when I watched her apply it on the QVC video, it looked all white and chalky. And Trish Sawyer looked drunk as a skunk, to boot; homegirl was WAY too 'mellow' for 4 o'clock in the afternoon. Trish needs help.
