Origins New Organic Line

The Muse isn't always as conscious as she should be in regards to what goes into her cosmetics but Origins is making that easy for her with their New Organic Line of products.

This new line provides skin, body, and hair care products certified to meet the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Organic Standards.

Want to learn more? Click your way over to the site!

In honor of Orgins New Organic Line the Muse is doing a little contest!

How do you enter?

Simple! Just comment about what you think of the new Organic Line (you do not need an account to comment)! I'd love to know what you think!

Please be sure to include your name or internet alias somewhere in your message when commenting as I'll be writing it down, throwing it into a jar, and within a week's time I'll randomly select a winner to receive some goodies!

If you win I'll be sending you a gorgeous Origins Organic Cotton Canvas Tote Bag, a sample size of their new Nourishing Face Lotion, and a sample Prescriptives Mascara!

The Goodies!

This contest is open to everyone worldwide. If you happen to live outside the US I'll gladly airmail you your package should you win!

No cost or purchase is needed to enter the contest and if you win I'll be paying your shipping obviously ;)

Good Luck!

PS The Muse really wants one of these totes for her very own ;) If you don't win fear not you can purchase one from Origins, Nordstroms, and anywhere Origins products are sold for a mere $10!

yay! i think this is your first contest right?

at least origins is truthful about how much organic stuff that goes into the bottle instead of saying 100% organic.

Hi Lesha :)

I never tried any origins before but I'm really digging the bag ;) and the skincare sounds pretty dark good!

Hi Ann!

It sure is :)

Good luck as you're officially entered now ;)

I concur they are being very honest about what goes into each bottle! It seems an interesting line ;)

Thanks for the comment!

Hi Muse ^_^

As time goes on, I find myself being more and more aesthetically/environmentally aware -- just think about all the polluntants that are in the air and age you and make your skin look less than perfect!!

I live in a city and we have some bad air quality days, but whenever I travel to the mountains, my skin literally feels the difference: it's cleaner, brighter, and fresher!

That's why I'm actually kinda psyched about Origins' new line. Anything that helps make my skin feel like I'm back in the mountains is a winner for me. Also, knowing that they're consciously trying to promote environmental consciousness is something to rave about!!

Thanks again, Muse! xo, julieah [at] gmail . com

Well of course I have to take part in this fab contest! I love organic lines so this is welcome for sure. I also like that they explain what's organic and what's not - if they do that the brand often has something genuine to offer.

The body pampering oil sounds lovely! Jojoba is one of my favorite oils so I'm glad they used that one, and I'm also glad that they refer to the Native Americans in the product description.

All in all, I'm glad that more and more brands are creating organic lines!

Love from Sweden!

I think it's awesome! Origins is an awesome company, and I love the smell that always emanates from their stores. Ever tried their little white gums that they sell in the big dispensers? It's like crack!

Glad to see organics coming into skincare. Hope it becomes more common. I think it's better to limit the synthetic/chemical stuff as much as possible and try to go organic. I only of Burt's Bee and LUSH as the two other other companies that produce natural skincare items, though not organic.

I have had an on-again off-again love-hate relationship with Origins. I can't explain it. Some things I absolutely LOVE (Fire fighter, body scrubs) and some things I absolutely hate.

This organic line intrigues me deeply. As a makeup artist, I can't wait to play with the products.

I'd love to be in the contest.
Best Wishes!
Daniel

Hi Muse-y,

It's been forever since I commented! I had to drop by and take part in your first ever contest! You have been giving me lemmings left and right. I need to get my hands on some of that Snowcake LUSH shower gel. Must you make me lemm LE and UK exclusives and J-mu I can't get ahold of easily? lol. I guess it's the thrill of the hunt. :P I would love to try out Origins new organic items. That bag is adorable.

Hope you are well. :)

Sincerely,
Sarah

Contests, contest!! I love contests! How could I miss it? I ♥love♥ Origins and its philosophy, they don't test their products on animals, are eco-friendly and their ingredients are always natural. d(^-^)
I've tried a couple of things and I would love to try more, but it's quite difficult for me, as I live at the far end of the world (lol)

Ive been trying to get into "healthier" products lately. I've been using Origins for 1 year now and I love ALL their stuff I have. The smell, texture, the way it leaves my skin, AND the fact that it has no yucky ingredients in them!
